Description
See more detailsLocation. Located in Nosara, Costa Rica, the Harmony Hotel is west of Nicoya Peninsula.
Hotel Features. Surrounded by native jungle and beach, the hotel includes several guestrooms and bungalows along a winding path that weaves through the hotel's tropical gardens. Enclosed by indigenous landscaping, the outdoor pool is not chlorinated. Instead, the Harmony Hotel uses a system that softens the oceans saltwater. This process leaves the natural buoyancy of the water intact without the irritation of salt or harsh chemicals. The hotel's restaurant serves organic and vegetarian cuisine in an alfresco setting. Complimentary breakfasts are served in the restaurant each morning. The juice bar adjacent to the outdoor pool offers fruit smoothies, sandwiches and salads. The Healing Center, the hotel's on-site spa, offers massage, skincare treatments and yoga instruction. The Bookstore provides sundries and reading materials.
Guestrooms. All 24 guestrooms at the Harmony Hotel are furnished in natural woods and linens. Rooms include air conditioning and windows that open. Mini fridges, minibars and coffeemakers are included. In-room safes are equipped to accommodate laptop computers, and wireless Internet access is complimentary. Private patios are furnished with hammocks, polished wood flooring and wicker chairs. Bathrooms include showers, extra towels, and select suites feature separate bath tubs.
Expert Tip. The Guaitil Ceramics Tour, offered by the hotel, is a chance to see 5,000-year-old pottery making traditions practiced by the Chorotegan Indians. Their art features mythical animals and symbols once used by the Mayans.
