    We usually stay at a big luxury hotel, which is right down the street, but it's gotten way too pricey for my blood. So we gave the Hampton Inn a try. We were VERY pleased. The front desk checked us in early, like 11 a.m., which was very convenient. The hotel personnel don't have quite the polish as the luxury hotel, but they were kind. Upon check-in, we were thrilled with our room because it was gorgeous and fresh. The view was a parking lot, but, to be honest, I think the hotel is surrounded by parking lots because it's close to the convention center. The included breakfast was maybe a 7.5 on a scale of 10, but that's not bad for free. The only negative is there's no bar, but there's lots of hot spots in the area.
