Trip Type: Not Provided Review 1 of 22Desk Clerk Assistance
Shame on me that I don't remember the clerks name, however, I think she was a manager or something. However, I was going to a formal event at the World Congress Center and of course didn't want to walk, nor did I want to drive my car since I would return that night. The desk clerk notified the taxi that I needed service and also, remembered me by name when I called after the event to come back. She sent a taxi right away. It's nice when you stay in a well kept hotel, however, many times you don't need a lot of service. You just stay the length a time you are going to stay and check out. It's nice to know that there are still people working in the service industry who like what they do, and really make an effort to make customers comfortable. Most folks just don't make an effort of any kind anymore. Thank you:)

Trip Type: Family Review 6 of 22customer service needs a little bit of adjustment
Loved the Hotel and almost everyone in Georgia was down right friendly. There was one incident that ruined my vacation.. this was with one of the manager's. I was very happy to hear the problem was solved and spoke to someone higher up. They do have great people to make up for the one that causes problems.

Trip Type: Family Review 8 of 22Almost perfect
Excellent hotel, excellent breakfast, excellent internet. Only one missing thing: frigobar. I have a medicine that needs refrigeration and this missing was important to me. At our checkout we left some items and the hotel sent them to our next destination. This was outstanding.

Trip Type: Business Review 9 of 22Good hotel, good location, good price
I recently stayed in the Hampton Inn & Suites Atlanta Downtown to attend an event at the World Congress Center. The hotel location was great and the hotel itself was clean, well maintained and staffed with knowledgeable people who were able to help me with every request. The only disappointing thing is the $16 per day to park a car in the hotel lot. I would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone who needs to be downtown Atlanta.

Trip Type: Business Review 12 of 22Expected more for the money
We were assigned a smoking room when we specifically asked for non-smoking. It didn't just smell, it reeked. The hotel would not change our room even though we checked in fairly early. When asking staff for MARTA information they gave us the wrong info and we could have missed our flight out if we hadn't checked ourselves. The dining hall staff was very pleasant and the breakfast choices were good.

We picked this hotel because of its proximity to Turner Field. It was a quick cab ride. It was definately within walking distances of the aquarium, olympic park, and the World of CocaCola.

Trip Type: Business Review 14 of 22Good Experience
The hotel staff was very professional, friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The parking situation was not the best. You had to park in a lot behind the hotel. I was a little nervous about leaving my vehicle exposed in downtown Atlanta overnight.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 15 of 22Good Location
Parking is $15 a day! Great Location if U want to walk! Higher rooms have nice view of city skyline! If U are a hot natured person , U may want to stay on a lower floor! Our Room was hot and never did cool off! Room not really clean! King suite was nice, bedroom much larger than the seperate living room! Fridge was nice to have!
