Trip Type: With Friends Review 1 of 101Nice place to stay
The hotel was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was very good and more than adequate. The front desk personnel were friendly, and professional. It was a little farther away from Universal than some at which we have stayed. We took a taxi back from City Walk and it was only $5.00. The shuttel doesn't run at night. We would stay here again.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 3 of 101Not the best, but I'd stay again..
Not a bad little hotel at all for a night stay..we stayed because we went to Halloween Horror Nights (no good). I was very disappointed to find out the shuttle was not running for this?? I couldnt understand why, the lady at the desk was very hard to understand with her accent. I was even more disappointed when we called the desk for a taxi, they called for us and it was a van which cost 8 dollars (not too bad) to get a ride to universal, however on the way back, we took a regular yellow taxi and it only costs 5 dollars and change. I asked about this and instead of giving me a straight answer he talked a load of BS and went right to the drawer and handed me 3 dollars. Something was not right about this so they probably make money off whatever company they call for you. SO if your going to take a taxi, ask for a regular taxi number and do it yourself. Other then that it was decent. Beds are not very comfy, but tolerable.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 4 of 101Simply Wonderful
We have never stayed at a Hampton Inn, but trust me we will be doing so in the near future. The staff was most helpful, very friendly, rooms were spotless!,very comfortable, continental breakfast was wonderful, free refills on coffee, (you don't get that @ the Hard Rock). I have already spread the word. Thank you for a great night stay! Hoping to see you all real soon. Thank you!!

Trip Type: Business Review 5 of 101Not that Great, But not that Bad
We arrived to find out that they were cleaning the carpets in our rooms. We were told that one was wet and the other would be "done later." They weren't very accommodating after telling us this, offering to lock our bags in the back while we "wait in the lobby" (for 2 hours). Yeah, that's convenient. When we did get to the rooms, they were clean, but showed signs of wear. Staff was merely present. Girl at the front desk never looked up every time I engaged her in conversation. Exercise room was an absolute joke. The highlight of the stay was a decent continental hot/cold breakfast.

Trip Type: Romance Review 12 of 101An affordable and practical hotel
This is the ways hotels should be affordable, clean and not pretentious. Great breakfast, nice rooms, plenty of parking, no surprise fees, really close to universal. They need more tables for breakfast, dont arrive just before they close the breakfast buffet. Clerks are from esastern europe but have a nice english. Best hotel to stay in Orlando.

Trip Type: Family Review 13 of 101Great Place to Stay w/ the Family
We recenltly stayed at the Hampton Inn, near Universal. We were warmly greeted and our room was ready upon arrival. We loved the hot and cold breakfast that was self-served every morning. The room had a refrigerator, coffee maker and microwave oven. Cookies and coffee were available free during the afternoon hours. The pool was small but clean and confortable for our family. Would have love to have had a hot tub on premises. Would highly recommend the hotel, as it was within a 5 minute drive to Universal Studios and lots of resteraunts around the block from it.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 14 of 101Not disappointed again
Love to stay at Hampton's. This hotel was smaller than other Hampton's we have stayed at but had the same great qualities. Quiet location near many great eateries, awesome room as usual, friendly service. LOVE the bed and bedding as usual, great nights sleep!
