    The Hacienda was very nice and the staff were great. The hotel was very quiet. There seemed to be very few guests. If you are looking for fun and want to meet people at the pool or bar it may not be the place for you. Great pool on Spa rooftop. You can have it to yourself!

    The hotel itself is beautiful and our room, though small, was adequate. The problems were at night. The mattress was very hard and there was a lot of noise from plumping. Since we were in the studio room on the first floor it was very moldy smelling. I was going to ask for a change of room,but we were only there 2 nights, so I put up with it. If I went back I would definately not stay in room 1111!

Location. Adjacent to a golf course and located two kilometers from Playa del Carmen Beach in Playa del Carmen, Mexico, Hotel Hacienda Vista Real Villas & Spa offers a serene setting tucked away from beachside bustle. The property is 1.5 kilometers from the ferry to Cozumel Island, and the Tulum ruins are 64 kilometers away. Cancun International Airport is 56 kilometers from the resort.

At first glance, guests are greeted by thatched-roofed buildings and an open-air lobby. With three floors, Hacienda Vista Real is comprised of 73 guest villas which feature exterior corridors. Breezy courtyards connect porticos, yielding the property much-desired shade.

Hotel Features. The hotel is well-known for its Vida Real Spa. At more than 36,000 square feet and three levels, this venue is the largest in Latin America and one of the biggest hotel spas in the world. Frescos dominate the walls in an area that architecturally resembles a Mayan temple. Typical services include aroma facials and coconut milk body wraps.

For activities elsewhere, guests can look to the seasonal pool and accompanying swim-up bar.

Guestrooms. Guestrooms feature contemporary Mexican décor with marble and granite floors.

Although the resort is not on the beach, it operates a private beach club and provides complimentary scheduled shuttle service.
