Trip Type: Business Review 1 of 493Lousy, lousy, lousy
Rooms were old and dingy. No fridge or microwave. Noisy. Service was aweful. Check in line was super long and no extra help to speed it up, parking wasn't close or convenient. And worst of all, I had a bit of dinner I wanted to warm up the next morning - no possibility of that. No microwave anywhere in hotel except in diner downstairs but diner staff was rude and wouldn't even consider the idea of warming up for me because that wouldn't make them any money. When you are passing by this dump, keep driving and save yourself the aggravation.

Trip Type: Business Review 2 of 493Decent value for 1 night stay
The location is very good (10 minutes from the LAX terminals. If you have a car, you might need to pay 5 dollars/night for parking. There is no complimentary breakfast as other hotels offer. But there are enough options, there is a Starbucks across the street, an IHOP a couple of blocks away, and many other places to eat in the area. The reception area is always very crowded, but the receptionists will assist you in a timely manner. The swimming pool is quite far if you stay in the north tower. The courtyard is nice and quiet, although it can be crowded in the evening. They offer free wireless internet, and HBO. The rooms are clean and well maintained. There is not much street noise, and the area seems to be safe. Overall Hacienda is a pretty nice hotel.

parking is across a street in a questionable neighborhood for unaccompanied women at night.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 5 of 493Reception Desk
I was extremely disappointed with the young man, Jose S who greeted me and then began checking me in. He stated, "When did you make this reservation, it's not in our system. It seems to be from someone else". I believe he could have handled it a lot more judiciously, with different words. The reservation was there, he discovered.

Trip Type: Rest and Recreation Review 7 of 493Feels like an outdated Las Vegas hotel
Imagine the grandeur of a Las Vegas hotel... ...only one of those popular in the 80s... ...but in 2009. Cons: - OLD. You'll feel like you're in a 4-star hotel from the 80s. Unfortunately, it has aged since then too. They try to keep it maintained, but that can only go so far. - Can't say the place felt clean. 'Shame because it's a hotel and the least they can do is make it feel like it's clean when it's really not. - Power outlets didn't all work. - Front desk service a bit slow. - Parking in two lots behind the hotel, but they do let you pull up to the front to unload and check in before parking ($5 overnight parking fee can be charged to your room) - Overall, value was on par, slightly lacking. Pros: - HUGE hotel. Has a pool, alcoholic bar, multiple lounges, lots of very nice indoor and outdoor seating: courtyards, meeting rooms, etc. - Free WiFi by AT&T. Decently good speed. - Has a restaurant on-site. Supermarket and Starbucks across the street. - Most things didn't give us trouble I suppose. - Fast elevators - Door-style windows opens inwards for what I can only describe as in-room balcony. - Great for out-of-town people that need to stay near the airport and move on in life - Consistent Spanish theme throughout the decor & architecture Neutral Notes: - The windows seemed like those on a ship - The guy in line in front of me had white alligator shoes. - Actual conversation: Customers: "Hey is there anywhere I can get ice here?" Front desk: "Did you check the ice maker?" Customers: "Um... no." This is their clientele.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 11 of 493Lots of personality
Fast check in, confusing lay out, but lots of personality. I loved that it was not your typical chain hotel. The room was surprisingly small, but location near the airport was exactly what we needed.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 12 of 493Great Room for Money
Only complaint was a leaking toilet discovered in the morning. Front desk just offered apology. Used all but one of towels to soak up clean water.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 15 of 493Good Experience
As what others have said the parking is $5 bucks, and the lot does get full so you may have to park on the street(yes even though you paid 5 bucks), which would be like parking in the next set of stalls if there were a larger parking lot.. After reading the reviews about the lot being full I asked the guy at the desk, does the parking lot get full, and he lied to me and said no. The room and bathroom was very clean, the blankets were a little hard, but the pillows(all 6 of them) were very comfortable. I tried watching TV once but either it would turn on when I wanted it off or turn off when I wanted it on.. didn't really want to watch it anyways. Overall it was a good stay, and my company made it even better.
