Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 17 of 495Good Experience
As what others have said the parking is $5 bucks, and the lot does get full so you may have to park on the street(yes even though you paid 5 bucks), which would be like parking in the next set of stalls if there were a larger parking lot.. After reading the reviews about the lot being full I asked the guy at the desk, does the parking lot get full, and he lied to me and said no. The room and bathroom was very clean, the blankets were a little hard, but the pillows(all 6 of them) were very comfortable. I tried watching TV once but either it would turn on when I wanted it off or turn off when I wanted it on.. didn't really want to watch it anyways. Overall it was a good stay, and my company made it even better.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 18 of 495Great Hotel for the price
Very nice hotel! We loved it! Also plenty of food around the area, right next to airport and freeway. Friendly and helpful staff! Will stay again.

The hotel is very old and needs updating. The room itself was O.K. and clean. It was convenient to LAX and their shuttle service was good. Would not stay for more than overnight.

Trip Type: Business Review 22 of 495COMPLETELY DISSATISFIED WITH ACCOMODATIONS
I have been to this hotel about 7 times and been here through all times of the year. The one and only thing I am dissatisfied is that when am here, they never ever have AC or heater. The previous time I was here, it was during the summer and I asked them if they could turn the AC on, they said that the maintenance would not do it because not enough people have requested it. Then, I was there in October and I arrived when it was very cold. I walked into a room that was freezing. I asked for a room on the first floor closest to the pool and jacuzzi. They gave me a room that was right next to a driveway and a huge truck kept coming in and out picking up linen. The guy saw me when I opened the window wondering what these loud noises where only feet from my door, the guy got out of the truck and talked to the security guy, both looked at me and laughed. I called the front desk and they said they would leave in 10 minutes. I then was still very cold and called them to see if they could turn the heater on. They told me last time I was here that the heater would be on during the fall and winter. Again, they told me that not enough people have requested it. I had 6 blankets ordered to the room. LA City Tours has a driver I know whom checks a room there and I met him the next day. When he arrived, he said his room was extremely cold. I vowed never, ever to stay at this hotel. The only reason this hotel is famous is because it's well advertised for Europeans. Every time I'm there, there are tons of Europeans, French, Germans, getting drunk in the outside area at night. These people make enough money to cover an AC and heater and I use to stay here only out of convenience to the 405 and area. However, I'd rather go to a motel 6 and they at least have a great flow of AC and heat! I'ts not worth staying here anymore.

I used to live in LA and had driven past the Hacienda Hotel countless times. It always seemed like a nice place. The lobby is very deceiving. You walk in and the hotel looks like it may even exceed your expectations. It is charming with a "Santa Barbara" feel to it. But, then you haul your luggage to the West Tower for a rude awakening. Suddenly, I felt like I was in a really cheap hotel. Everything is old and desperately needs updating. The place was clean and you can tell they try to do the best they can with what they have to work with. But the bed was rock hard and the room was so stuffy. I wouldn't stay here again.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 26 of 495Just what we wanted...
We needed a clean place close to the airport with free shuttle service, we got that plus the breakfast was great (we ordered for one and had plenty for two). There is a 24hr Ralph's across the street, if you forget anything at home. The staff was great at directing us to our room, which was not hard to find at all. Bed not so comfy and you can hear the planes, so bring earplugs.

Trip Type: Business Review 27 of 495Great room for money, and close to LAX
Stayed here for 3 days and found it to exceed our expectations. The room was clean and of sufficient size. We got a great deal through Hotels.com, but probably worth the full price, given the expensive nature of L.A. The location is not that central, but close enough to everything and literally at LAX. The only critique is that they will ask for parking at the front desk for a fee. The parking lot fills completely up and I found there to be sufficient street parking, so don't waste your money!

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 29 of 495Reserved and paid for upgraded room and got standard
It's a funky place. Not bad. Excellent location for airport travel. I reserved a king pool view room and got a queen with a view of the loading dock. No rooms left meeting my reservation and was not given a reduction in my bill.
