Great room for the money

The Hotel itself is good, but the Montpellier city is dirty and there's no tourist attraction.

Convenient to Train Station

The Royal is a clean, well priced hotel that is a 5 minute walk from the train station on a safe street. It was also convenient to shops for food and there are enough people around on the streets to make it safe. The only concern we had that it was a bit noisy from the lane sometimes, but this is typical for Europe.
