This course was designed by Arthur Hills. Persimmon Hill Golf Club: Home of the longest hole in South Carolina ( 600-plus yards/par five). Midland Valley Golf Club: Rated 4 stars by Golf Digest. This 18-hole course was designed by Ellis Maples and is laved in Midland Valley, 30 minutes from the hotel. Rivers Gold Club: This 4-star course was formerly not available for public play. It has beautiful bent-grass greens and is located adjacent to the Savannah River near north Augusta.
