Could use improvement

While the overall hotel was very nice and staff was extremely friendly I felt the hotel was trying to be something it is not. This is not a high end resort hotel - there was a plywood shelf in the bathroom with extra supplies on it!!

Not what we expected

We had asked for no-smoking type room. When we reached the hotel, we were informed that there is no availability and they offered a smoking type room. Why did they accept the reservation then? Also, the air conditioning was not working. It totally spoilt our weekend.

Nice rooms excellent amenities

Outdoor pools are great! Beach is nice and clean.Indoor pool is better than I expected-great place to hang out when the weather is not cooperating!

not recommend to stay

I decide this hotel because it said 4 star hotel but I found room was old with a fade of carpet, dust all on the air condition, unclean glass and tiny old bathroom. That was not worth money at all. The front desk was unfriendly since I checked in and the same when I checked out. Moreover,I got charge $9.95 per night that they explained it was for hotel fee even though I didn't use any pool or health club or extra service at all. For me, it doesn't matter of twenty bucks but it's about hotel honesty. When booking the hotel I didn't see any notice about that kind of fee I have never heard the front desk refer to me about the fee when I check in. When I ask the front desk when I checked out, they didn't even be able to answer my question clearly. It make me feel like somebody try to take advantage from me by that.

I thought that the room was on the small side and that the bathrooms were rather crowded.

Great Room, Great Price

The hotel was clean and updated. The room was large and comfortable with a great view. The amenities were as described and the spa is worth a visit. We only stayed one night, but we it is worth staying longer.

"Disappointed"

When I booked this hotel, I called Hotels.com to ask if there was an additional charge for the use of the pool and exercise room. Your representative called the hotel to ask, while I waited on the line the answer was no. However, when we checked out, we were charged $9.95 per day for our 4 day stay for the use of the health club. Also, there was no coffee maker in the room! I also requested and paid for a refrigerator which was not in the room when we arrived. One was brought soon after we made our request to the front desk. Our bathroom sink was not cleaned nor were our dirty glasses replaced on the second day. I also heard from a maid that they were required to change the sheets everyday! Have they not heard of conserving water and gas! Also, the only smoking bar was in an open area in a narrow hallway where the only elevators are. You could smell the smoke up to the 5th floor lobby! Overall, I was disappointed of our stay at what is truly a beautiful looking hotel.
