Hotel Review

The hotel setup was like a group of townhouses. There were multiple buildings and it was quite quiet. It is a bit out of town. You definately need a car for this one. My only issue was with the staff. While I waited for the person at the front desk to get off the phone two staff members sat in back chatting as I waited (about 10 minutes). Then when the person at the desk got off the phone someone came from the back and began chatting with the person at the desk completely ignoring me!

Absolutely LOVED it!

I wish that we could've stayed at the Oakridge Resort longer!! My husband and I just loved it! The whole resort has such a warm, cozy, rustic feel to it - from the moment we drove up and saw the fire torches on either side of the main entrance we knew we'd love it! The staff are beyond friendly and were SO nice! We stayed in a standard king room which had a balcony with a good view of the courtyard. The shower/bathroom was fantastic and the bed was SO comfy! We would give this resort 10 stars if we could! It's located just outside of Wanaka, so we drove in for dinner/lunch/shopping, but we absolutely loved it and would stay again and again!!
