Good hotel close to airport

Well kept hotel but rooms on airport side can hear takeoffs and landings during the night.

The service and staff were absolutly 100% the best quality of service one could ask for. Were are going back!!

Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay

Very nice hotel, made nicer by getting a great rate on Hotels.com. Very happy with overall experience. Hotel is clean, high end and service is very good. I think it's hard to have a bad experience at any Hyatt Hotel. A couple points to keep in mind, if you are traveling, it's next to the airport, so very convenient. If you are looking to do some walking, You can not walk anywhere other than to a restaurant they own that is on the same property. You have to drive. Not far, but for pretty much anything else, you get in your car. A lot of road construction to navigate through. If you want to run or bike, you need to get in your car and drive first to a park or beach..etc. Other than that, great stay at one of the better hotels in the area.

A Beautiful Hotel

The ONLY thing that could have made our stay better was if the room had enough washcloths, towels, and shampoo for our entire party. Other than that, the room was clean & well-appointed, the hotel and pool was lovely, and the dining staff was wonderfully accommodating.

great amenities

outstanding gym facilities, pool, hot tub. nice location on the bay (but far from anything else). large rooms, good on-site restaurants

Great Weekend Getaway!

This is the third time my family and I have visited this hotel and each time gets better and better! We've stayed a couple of times in the main hotel area with a bayview room (ahhh...you can actually feel your stress melting away) and this time we spent the weekend in the casitas! I highly recommend the casitas as an escape from the expected. We were thrilled with our room but the laid back comfort and peacefulness of the casitas area is what we'll come back for! Our girls enjoyed visiting the koi pond and nature trail, while my husband and I enjoyed sunning on the private sandy beach area and the adjoining pool! The hotel is located in close vicinity to the International Plaza and Westshore mall and there are plenty of great restaurants to visit. Ask for a late checkout-You'll want to stay longer-I promise!
