Location. Tucked into a scenic nook just north of the bay, the Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay, Fla., is a conference hotel with modern amenities in a natural setting. Hotel Features. Dining is plentiful with three options from which to choose at the hotel. Armani's Restaurant features rooftop views of the neighboring bay from its perch high above the property. A standout at the restaurant is its antipasti bar. At Oystercatchers, seafood is the specialty, while Petey Brown's offers casual fare and a buffet of American standards. The hotel boasts 19 meeting rooms appropriate for a wide spectrum of functions. In addition, the Xerox Business Center offers secretarial services, and wireless Internet access, for a fee, is available throughout the property. The Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay sports a fitness center with treadmills and elliptical machines. The hotel features an indoor spa tub or and saunas. A lap pool and a free-form splash pool are available, along with two lighted tennis courts and a basketball court.

Guestrooms. Guestrooms feature teak furnishings, sitting areas and floor-to-ceiling windows with stunning views of the bay. Down pillows, complimentary daily newspaper delivery and granite baths are additional luxuries. Select rooms and casitas feature 250-thread-count triple sheeting, a mixture of throw, European and roll pillows, and down blankets. Refrigerators and turndown service are both available upon request.

Expert Tip. Set on a 35-acre wildlife preserve made of mangroves and salty marshes, the hotel melds natural beauty with modernity. A six-acre tidal pool creates a wetland habitat inhabited by marsh wildlife.
