bad experience

dirty carpet, noisy heating system, very bad smells, do not go there

Bed and pillows were extremely uncomfortable. Nice, quiet location. Friendly staff.

Pepperdine

My son and I stayed the weekend before the big interview at Pepperdine and found this hotel to be a great value and only a 15 minute drive through Malibu canyon to the coast!

Great!!

I would say the place was great for the price of the hotel. Good Night Inn hotel was very convenient for the purpose of my stay. It’s close to Malibu beach (less than 15 minutes drive). I live in Orange County, which is an hour drive to the hotel without traffic, so I just wanted to get out for the weekend and find a place close to the beach. I’ve read people’s review and some made comments about the rooms being small, but in my opinion, the rooms were just fine for the price. I would definitely go back.

Great Room-Can't beat the price!

Impressed with cleanliness and location-walking distance to Albertsons, StarBucks and Mickey Ds. And it really is only 3 miles from Malibu Creek State Park!

Hotel was clean. Bed was fair, Highway noise bad and room small. Breakfast consisted of OJ and muffins only

Needs Serious Improvement

Well over all for price and such its decent... But the BED was the most uncomfortable bed i have ever slept in, I woke up with back pain.. Not to mention they give you a pillow that is so flat you can take it away and not notice the difference. Also it seems they have a raccoon problem luckily I was able to close my door fast enough so it did not get in. If they Fix the Bed Issue and the pest problem I would stay again but not until

Hidden gem in L.A.

The hotel was conveniently located off the 101. Very simple, no frills, but comfy, clean and safe. For the price I paid per nite, one would wonder if safety and cleanliness were possible. Yes. Walking distance to Starbucks, Grocery store & restaurants, yet quiet and convenient. Continental breakfast was muffins, danish & coffee. Nothin' special, but more than pricier hotels offer. Lovely pool & jacuzzi in the courtyard appeared well kept. It was too cool to swim on my visit. There was a fridge in my room too! I would stay again and would recommend to others.

Respectable value

There was absolutely nothing wrong with the room. The desk clerk happily printed out my airline boarding pass! Room was small & kinda noisy from proximity to the freeway, but given the price & the fact it's in California I would rate it a perfectly reasonable value.
