Gatwick Worth Hotel

Good value

The cost of the room was very reasonable by British standards, largely as a result of using Hotels.com. Had I paid upon arrival, the cost would have been much higher. The restaurant was adequate but way overpriced. The hotel is clean, quiet, and pleasant but not walking distance from anything. A 4 pound ride to Gatwick is a good value.

Barely acceptable

Older property not in the best of shape. Room carpet was dirty and wall paper peeling in my room. Convenience to Gatwick is main reason to stay.

Not so good

They do not accept any other currency than pounds, and they are a hotel that deals with customers from all over the world? I have problems, because I had Euros. The service at the bar was not so good. They only have 4 TV channels. Please get some good channels.

Great Room for the Money

1st. room was cold,but they gave us a heater. very accommodating.

Good deal; efficient for the airport.

Call from either terminal for shuttle pick-up after noon, which is three pounds round-trip. Shuttle runs half hourly or hourly in the mornings.

It was well located to Gatwick Airport but feel Breakfast could have been included somehow. Good service for traverls . Would go there again if need be good pub down the road.

Good Hotel

Rooms were good for the money. Hotel close to Gatwick airport, making it a good destination for an overnight stay waiting to depart on the next day.

Stay only out of necessity

This hotel had the wall paper peeling, eroding and rotted. The double bed sloped to the middle. Neither shower in either room had been cleaned, there were long black hairs in both showers. Breakfast in not include and not worth paying for. They do have free shuttle to Gatwick airport (if you know about it and where to get it and how to call them for it). Fortunately we were only there for a layover!
