Needs Improvement

No dressers for clothes. No tub. No refrigerator.

Nice hotel, great staff

Hotel is fairly new so nice. Room was aq little small for two guys but clean, nice tv, good shower. Great staff at front desk and bar. Easy to find and good location. Room rates increased for ballgame weekend but every hotel in town is. I'd return.

Great hotel for the money! Like a 4-star hotel!

I stayed at the hotel on my way to Florida from Texas. After driving for 9 hours we were hoping to relax at this hotel. I didnt care so much for the location as we just wanted to sleep. The lobby was nice and elegant. The guest room was even more elegant. Very clean, brand new everything, nice small touches to the room, like the apple pie glade scent. It's rated a 3 star but I would give it a 3.5 or even 4 star!! Staff was very helpful.

Very Nice

Overall, we were very happy with the hotel and our room. The pluses: Nice lobby with books and a bar. Restaurants close by. Breakfast in the morning was complimentary, although it was very basic - cereal, toast, bagels, pastries, coffee and juice. The room was nice but smallish. The decor was modern and had a huge flat screen TV that pivoted so it could be seen from anywhere in the room. The bed was very comfortable but only had 2 sleeping pillows - I like 2 pillows to myself but it wasn't that big a deal. There were no dresser drawers, but there was a basket to put your things. There was a large desk area that we laid out most of our things. The only full length mirror was on the inside of the closet door. The bathroom had a large walk in shower with shower doors rather than a curtain, with was a plus, I thought. But they only gave you 2 bath towels. It was quiet and clean and overall, I liked it and would stay there again.

good hotel, clean,good service, a lit bit difficult to find as the street sign is not very vissible. Breakfast could be better, dinner (room service was fine).

My only complaint would be with the water fixtures in the bathroom. They were difficult to regulate.

Poor quality for such a new hotel.

The staff was very pleasant, the location was very quiet and secluded, the room was clean (considering that it is new, it should be). Unfortunately, the negative points outweighed the positive points. The room was very small (especially with 4 people), the carpet in the hallway was not properly secured to the floor (tripping hazard), the furniture in the room was cheap and poor quality (cheap baskets to hold towels, open under sink and no drawers for storage of clothing), the walls and ceilings were very thin (we could hear every step the people above us made), the swimming pool had algae and the water level was so low the filter could not run properly. Plus, to show how cheap the hotel is, they charged you $3.00 if you did not return the plastic key card at check-out! If you are not expecting very much, go for it. If you want something worth your money, do not stay here. I am very surprised that this was a Sheraton hotel. I always read reviews before I stay in unfamiliar hotels, so hopefully this will help someone who is trying to make a decision. I'm not picky, but I work too hard for my $ to stay there again.

Needs improvement

Positive points included: very clean (it's new, so it should be), freindly staff, quiet location. Negative points included: extremely small room (very cramped with 4 people), cheap furniture (no drawers, dinky desk, cheap baskets held towels under open sink), thin walls and ceiling (sounded like the people above us were playing basketball all night), the small pool had algae on the sides and the pool level was so low that the filter could not run properly. Also, showing how cheaply the hotel is run, you were charged $3 if you didn't return the plastic key cards at check-out! This hotel is decent now, but because of the poor quality, it will be very run down in a few years. Not worth the money.

Excellent value for the money

This is a lovely, small hotel in a quiet location close to restaurants and shopping. From the polite staff to room size and amenities, this hotel felt more expensive than it was. We've already recommended it to several people and will be staying there again next time we're in Tallahassee.

Weird Location; Room Service Food Overcooked; Staff Rude & Not Friendly

The room itself is fine; really no problems except the fact that the remote controlled AC unit is more glamor than practical and useful. You think wow a remote control AC system for my room, but it does not cool the entire room and does not heat up the entire room--I tested it both ways. The room service food is overcooked and frozen for the most part. I could not even order alcohol and have someone deliver it to me with my meal...I was told because of ID issues I would have to go to the bar to get my own drink and bring it back up. You can always check my ID when you come to my door with the food and there is no law prohibiting you from doing so. The front desk was not friendly when I entered the hotel nor were they friendly when I left. It seemed like I was just causing then to have a bad day. Wireless internet access was such a pain to setup that I went ahead and just plugged my laptop into the line instead of being comfortable in the bed doing my work. Also, the location of the hotel is in a hole and when you enter the area you go downwards to get into the parking lot and hotel itself. The parking space is not good at all and I thought my vehicle could easily be broken into at night. I would not pay to stay in this hotel again....I'd rather stay at a 2 star hotel with a friendlier staff than to go through the lackluster service that I went through.
