Older but nice Hotel

Older but well maintained. Generally clean. Modern bathroom with all conveniences. Sometimes a little short on staff and the front desk goes unmanned.

Good for the money, NOT close to downtown Phoenix

They have a shuttle to the light rail which they were always nice about providing. However, not once but TWICE in a 3-night stay the shuttle ran out of gas and made me late to meetings downtown. The trip on the light rail from the stop where the hotel shuttle drops you off to downtown Phoenix is about a half an hour on top of the shuttle ride. The hotel staff was very nice and helpful, but the room left a little to be desired in terms of cleanliness. The shower had some sort of black powder in it, there was a rust spot on the floor under the sink, and there were some hairs on the sheets when I got in to bed. Still, it's a good stay for the price and you can't beat how nice the staff was.

Rooms were clean. Nothing fancy. Got a good rate and was close to shopping, restaurants etc. Nice heated pool.

A great experience

I had stayed at this hotel before and it had been beat-up by the teams who consistently stay here but the company has put much work and money into the property and it is quite nice. The front desk staff were tremendously helpful and pleasant, the pool was a nice little refuge, and the on-site bar/restaurant was beyond expectations. Don't let the location fool you, this is a lovely place to stay and I will return.

GREAT ROOM FOR YOUR MONEY

The hotel was conveniently close to shops, restaurants, and even the main freeway in Phoenix and the freeway noise was not a disturbance. The property was very well kept along with the room. The only thing I found to be a problem was the upkeep of the maintenance in the bathroom. The door made a loud noise when you closed it, it was also uneven as if it were off its track that it slid on. I like the shower...it was very different than most bathrooms which I liked but the plug for the tub did not work. Had to unscrew the plug just to let the water go through. I enjoyed my stay though and would stay again. Thanks for a great stay.

Not what I expected

This is not a 3 star hotel. I would not stay their again. Rooms need to be updated with new carpet and furniture. Bed was comfotable but I was bitten by something the one night I stayed. Also, the deadbolt on the door did not lock.

Great hotel stay

I got a smoking deal on staying two nights mid week and had a great experience overall. The staff was great, the room comfortable and clean and the location wonderful. My only complaint was that the breakfast buffet wasn't so hot - lukewarm, bland food and no honey for the hot tea, and the room service food was overcooked. But luckily there were lots of restaurants close by, and for the price I paid, this was a great hotel stay.

Great Hotel

I thought this hotel was great and the price was ideal. The pool was great and the kids could have spent hours there. Very clean and again, I couldn't go wrong with the price!
