Outstanding Hotel

I was highly impressed with not only the accomendations but with the knowledgeable staff. We stayed in hotels all over and Fort Marcy Hotel is by far the best. I will recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in the Santa Fe, NM area.

Quaint

The room I stayed in was not convenient to parking. I had to haul my luggage up 19 steps. The Suites are situated far enough off the street to give added comfort as to safety. It is also located on top of the hill overlooking the city. A short walk from the room allows for some amazing views of the city and the mountains. It is advertised as within walking distance of the Plaza. That applies if your are willing to climb some very steep streets and walk 6 - 8 blocks.

Condo 15 minute walk from DT Santa Fe

Fort Marcy Suites is a nice, simple Condo property a 10 to 15 minute walk from DT Santa Fe. The property was nice, but there are no services provided. Just a good value, a short walk for the main streets of Santa Fe

Great Suites

Well maintained, convenient location to Plaza

Not a great deal

Our condo was not in very good condition. Furniture and bed were very uncomfortable and we had to park on the steet. There was no maid service available and there was no cable television. we could not consider staying at this facility again.

Excellent for a relaxed Santa Fe visit

The hotel / condo is conviniently located at walking distance from the Plaza. If you want to go out, have a drink and don't want to drive, take cabs etc... this is a perfect place. The only thing missing is Wifi in the condo... you have to go to the office for internet...

Hidden Gem in Santa Fe

Very cozy & well-decorated, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Only complaints: pillows were old & lumpy, non-functioning remote control for DVD player. Because these are individually-owned condos, it seems the management office does not provide remedies. Units are built up a steep hillside, so be prepared to climb at least a few stairs (6+) to access your unit. We were on foot the first 2 days & really got a workout walking up the hill from town to our unit which was near the top of the hill. Great view of the area just beyond the hotel! The walk to the Plaza a comfortable 10 minute walk through lovely residential area. Airport shuttle (to-from Albuquerque)right to the hotel. Would definitely stay there again.

what we expected

Some of the reviews for this location were critical so I was a bit hesitant to book it. It is not a hotel with amenities, concierge and so forth but basically an apartment, which means space and privacy as well as quiet - no traffic noise. The walk to restaurants and shops was ok during the day but the (public) street was not very well lit at night. There are very good kitchen facilities. There isn't much service though.

Beautiful Room, Great Location

The room was large, clean and quiet. The in town location was so convenient that we walked everywhere. The pool and spa was enjoyable.
