Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 2 of 40Nice place for the money! Great location to marina
The hotel was just for the night until we could check into ur timeshare unit. The hotel location is great, right on the Marina, lots of restaurants and bars walking around the marina, good exercise too. The room was spacious with additional area for sitting and a table. The view was great of the pool and marina. The bed was comfortable too. I would recommend this for the price and location.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 3 of 40Met our needs for a couple of days
I would recommend this hotel for a couple days or if you are on a budget. We stayed 2 nights before going to our timeshare. The staff is extremely nice and helpful. The pool is clean and comfortable. The marina is a nice location. The room was adequate but clean. We had a 3rd floor room with a nice view of the marina. The best part of our stay was the excellent massage my husband and I got for less than $30 each for and hour. We couldn't do that at the timeshare!

Trip Type: Special Event Review 4 of 40Good Value
This hotel was suprisingly nice and very affordable. Transportation was easy as you could use the city buses for 5 pesos. There are quite a few affordable restraunts around that serve great food for a great price. Much better food than the all inclusive hotels. (Not worth it)

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 5 of 40Flamingo Hotel @ Marina
Very good, actually excellent location to go uptown or to restaurants on the marina. We stayed there 3 nights. @ nights before our timeshare week and one night after our timeshare week. It was in the marina area where our timeshare (Regina Club Westin)was located. My wife and children walked to and from and I took a 50 peco taxi to move all our luggage. There pool is very clean. The rooms were clean. It is also located on a very quiet street with million dollar gated marina houses directly across the street from the Flamingo. 20 walking steps and you are in the marina & dock area. I walked daily around all the boats in the marina and talked with many of the people working and living on the boats. Great stories all in front of the Flamingo.

Trip Type: Family Review 6 of 40Mexican charm with a Great Pool & Cantina
This place is right on the marina with many restaurants within walking distance, all price ranges and cuisine types. A three block walk to the Mega Supermarket and a five minute cab ride to the airport. This is not a five star hotel, but we loved it, the staff is friendly and they have a great spa, the 2 for 1 massage deal was 750 pesos for me and my wife(about $50 us) and the girls give a wonderful massage. The pool was never crowded and plenty of shade or sunny areas to choose from. The Cantina right next to the pool was great, great drinks and food at low prices. If this is your first time traveling in Mexico you might want to go more upscale as this is a Mexican style Hotel. We spent a week here and a week down on the beach south of town and loved both locations. We will go back to the Flamingo, and you can’t beat the price.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 10 of 40Great deal, clean and quiet
My husband and I were so satisfied with this hotel that we stayed a second night when we returned to Puerto Vallarta for our flight home. The hotel is very clean and quiet and the staff was very helpful. They let us check out of the hotel and kept our bags safe while we hung out at the pool enjoying drinks and lunch while we waited for our flight. All in all a great hotel experience.

Trip Type: Family Review 11 of 40Great hotel close to airport in Puerto Vallarta
We stayed there 2 night at either end of our vacation in Chacala (2 hours north of PV). The hotel is very relaxed and is comfortable. There is a pleasant pool and restaurant with good food. It is next to Vallarta Marina which has lots of shops, bars and restaurants to wander between and you can always drool over the fancy boats. It is a 5 minute taxi ride to the airport and the staff were very helpful and friendly.

Trip Type: Family Review 13 of 40Not what we expected
Honestly I thought that this would be a roach motel.. But far from it.. Although the location was a way from Puetro Vallarta.. This place was worth it.. Beautiful overlook at the bay and wonderful staff... The only draw back was the food at the resturant and the elevator.. Other than that I would stay here again..

Trip Type: Special Event Review 15 of 40Great Location, Great Value
when i saw the price for this hotel, i thought it was too good to be true. it was in a great location and the rooms, though older than many of the surrounding hotels, were VERY clean and the beds were firm and comfortable. the marina area is definitely where i would choose to stay in the future. and i WILL be back to puerto vallarta ... it was paradise!
