    The hotel was good. Our room was very comfortable and big. The pool area is very nice. From the outside you can tell the hotel is old but once you walk in it's pretty nice. It IS right in front of the beach, contrary to what other reviews have suggested. It's a great place to go with kids and it's very close to many beaches so you can always go visit some other beaches during the day. The food was good (although we only had breakfast there). I had a great experience and for the price i would recommend it to anyone.

Nestled along the splendid sandy white beaches of Playa Flamingo in the Guanacaste Region of Costa Rica's Northwest Pacific Coast, the Flamingo Beach Resort & Spa is right on the beach. Playa Flamingo is located just four hours' drive from the capital, San José, or 45 minutes by air. The Flamingo Beach Resort & Spa is right beside the first full-service marina on the Pacific coast south of Acapulco, Mexico, and is perfect for anglers on sport-fishing charters and members of boating expeditions who would like to spend some time in Costa Rica.

This modern resort features 120 spacious air-conditioned guestrooms and suites that are literally steps away from the crystal blue waters of the Pacific Ocean.
