Trip Type: Business Review 1 of 6terrible service
I booked a NON-SMOKING room and instead walked into a room that smelled worst than an after hours night club. When asking the front desk for assistance they made no attempt at trying to remedy the problem and instead asked if I wanted to check out when I had arrived past midnight on a late flight to Mexico City. I WILL NEVER STAY IN A FIESTA INN EVER AGAIN!

This hotel is not good for people going on vacations. Its too far from the center avenue La Reforma and tourists places. No public transportation is close to the hotel. The closest Train Station is Tacubaya which is 30 minutes from the hotel in a little bus and goes through the suburbs like the Northwest part of Miami and or washington DC.Once you get to Tacubaya in bus you feel that you do not want to get off the Bus.Its bad,i never seen something like that before. A floor market, drunk people, etc. Finally we got into the train station, it was not that bad.Same as going from manhattan to Brooklyn scary but you can controlled that. So I will not recommend this hotel for vacations of any type. The only great thing is that thre is a shopping Mall Santa Fe the best I ever seen in the world 5 minutes from the Hotel. The people from the Hotel make me think that the mall was so far that i have to pay 50 pesos to get there, once i discovered it was not true i pay 15 pesos on a taxi not related to the Hotel. Now is over 35 minutes from the airport very far.A taxi from the hotel to the Airport cost me 180 pesos because i talk to the same guy make me a taxi before. But regularly from the airport to the Hotel is 240 pesos, her be careful because in the airport they try me charge 440 pesos for a van transportation instead of a sedan car, so it depends of the type of car the charge. So be careful the hotel in my opinion neither is good for business, its far from the airport.Another thing i want to point is that Hotels.com advetise this hotel with Continental breakfast free and when i get there they told me it was cover only one breakfast and the other two i have to pay;i went to the reception and thanks God i had the printout of the reservation that says it has free breakfast,so after having my breakfast i had this notice. Then they told me they will respect what they offer hotel.com.But next day it happens again, finally they fix it but.The room was not confortable because have big wind

Trip Type: Business Review 6 of 6Basic Amenities - Good Breakfast Buffet - Horrible Internet Service
The Fiesta Inn is adjacent to the Fiesta Americana. The buildings are actually touching. I expected them to share amenities but that wasn't the case. Even though they are on the same property they are totally seperate. The rooms were very basic, no pay per view and no swimming pool. The internet service was horrible. The speed and stability was such that I couldn't work. The staff was friendly and the continental breakfast was actually a full breakfast. The location was convenient to Santa Fe. If you want a low cost no frills hotel and have no need for internet service it will do. The Fiesta Americana was $20 more and breakfast wasn't included. Next time I'll stay at the fiesta americana instead.
