This is the real deal, a spacious friendly,Mexican Los Cabos resort. Great pool and restaurant. Great views.(not for swimming), near all beaches. Great place to take a family to experience the authentic warm of the Mexican culture.

Don't be put off by the name

When I was looking for places for my fiance and I to go on vacation in Baja, the Fiesta Americana was probably the last one I looked at. The name sounded cheesy, so I kind of avoided it. I can say without a doubt, however, that it far exceeded my expectations on almost every front. I have vacationed at various world-class resorts in the Caribbean, West Africa and Mexico, and this ranks among the top. A far better experience than you would get from an all-inclusive. The staff was friendly, the food and spa excellent, the sky blue everyday and the resort private and pristine. Not to say everything was perfect, but the stuff that wasn't didn't really matter. I would very much recommend paying more for the Grand Club. Between the continental breakfast and the discount it gives you on everything throughout the resort, it really works out in your favor. The only disappointment was the actual town of Cabo san Lucas. Very commercialized, although with some very good restaurants.

FANTASTIC. BEST SERVICE EVER

These folks gave us a fantastic experience. From check in to check out and in betwween. We had dinner at the beach restaurant once and at the italian restaurant. The food was amazing like food network quality and presentation. Also the breakfast buffet is out of this world. Rooms were 5 star quality. Great view from the room.

Beautiful grounds....Okay food....Great ,Comfy, Clean Room

My husband and I went for a 3 night weekend. Easy check in. Lobby is okay, not really "resort feeling" but it has a gorgeous view of the Sea of Cortez in the bar area. We had a room in the "club" area which was really clean, nice, comfy bed, clean bathrooms, spacious. No complaints. Continental Breakfast included which consiteded of coffee, fresh juices, bread, fruit, deli meats, some pastries, cold cereals... Very sparce but nice. We went there for coffee and fruit then had breakfast at the hotel for real food. Restaurant service was okay....very slow and food not great. Pancakes were awesome, but everything we ordered came out piece meal and cold, all 3 mornings. THe restaurant by the ocean was excellent for lunch and dinner. Service much better. Would recommend this hotel for a quick get away. We stayed at the Westin before and the One and Only. Nothing compares to the One and Only, but for the money, the Fiesta was wonderful. Much prettier grounds than the Westin, but food and service at Westin much better. The $200 resort credit was not posted on the bill, but we corrected it at check out.

Great resort

The hotel was beautiful, right on the water, with 3 pools. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Shuttles run downtown throughout the day for a fee.

Amazing Price for a 4.5 star hotel, Should be a 5 star

We loved the hotel. The food was great. The spa was exceptional. The nicest spa I've ever seen. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. I couldn't have been happier, and I'm not the easiest to please.

We LOVED this hotel!

Our family of four visited the hotel and wished we could stay forever. The grounds are gorgeous, the pools are spectacular, and the staff were so friendly! We arrived at about 9 at night and were very pleased to find the pool bar still open...we had the pool to ourselves and drank margaritas while our kids were entertained by Adolpho doing magic tricks at the bar. There were always enough lounge chairs by the several pools, and there was always someone close by to offer whatever we wanted. We will definitely return to the Fiesta Americana.

Very nice hotel

Very nice hotel. Beds are a little hard. Other than that, everything was great.

Beautiful and Expensive

The hotel, pools and grounds are beautiful. Service is excellent and employees respectful and pleasant. Plan to spend $28 to $50 USD per person per meal for breakfast and dinner. Breakfast bar is $28, however you can order from the menu for much less (you will have to ask for a menu as it is not offered). Eat lunch at the pool restaurant for less (great food). There is even a $5.00 USD charge to make coffee in your room with the coffee provided, so you may want to bring filters and coffee with you if you like coffee first thing in the am. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and would recommend the hotel knowing that you will have to spend $$ after you arrive.

Nice place-very isolated

The hotel was nice and the staff was kind but the location was not what we had in mind. It was not beautiful enough and fancy enough to charge $30 person for the breakfast and nothing under $30 entrees for lunch and dinner. If you want to go into to town, the taxi's are $40 roundtrip. Nice place, but as a couple we are far too social and far too energetic to stay at this resort again.
