Great room for the money

This isn't a resort, but it was a great stop on our way through Connecticut. The people were so friendly and the room was clean. It's hard to find an affordable hotel that allows larger dogs, but this is a good choice.

Very Uncomfortable

When I arrived at the hotel there were unsavory looking characters walking around the outside of the building and inside the lobby that made me feel uncomfortable. I parked in the back of the building (in order to be closer to my room especially since I had been assigned a second story room and the elevator was not operational) where I noticed loud music coming from opened windows above me. I then realized that there were people either living there, or conducting some sort of business from the hotel. The groups of younger adults were constantly coming and going all night long - which made it very difficult to rest. The bed was very uncomfortable - the mattress seemed to have big lumps in it, and it was very unstable. The bathroom was not thoroughly cleaned and was supplied with wash cloths and towels that were so disgusting looking that I would not wash my car with them let alone put them against my body.

Needs Improvement

When we arrived at the hotel, we were hasseled about trying to check in at 2:55 when the hotel had a 3:00 check in. THe hotel had not recieved our reservations from hotels.com and the receptionist was said that there was nothing she could do to help us. We finally got everything straightened out with hotels.com (your staff is excellent), and got our room. there were only enough linnens in the bathroom for one person, and our king bed was just two full beds pushed together with a king mattress on top. Not very comfortable.

Planevill Hotel Don't go there!!!!

what a dump!!! the matress in my room had a very big dried snot seared on the side of it!!!!! They moved me to another room. this one looked better but under the shower mat there was black slime coming out from the sides!!! The hot water took 10 minutes to reach the room. The pay movie channel did not work, the elevators did not work, there was only one working ice machine and it was a long walk up a dingy flight of stairs. The parking lot was full of large pot holes, and there were no customers parking there because there were almost no one staying there. I GUEss they new better than to stay there!!!!!!!!!!
