Great room for the money....

The hotel was very nice and clean. The breakfast was good for our family. The price was right. Overall very pleased.

Terrific place to stay!

Loved the comfort of the room and the great breakfast! We love waffles! Enjoyed the convenience of taking the shuttle to the Mall of America or just walking there. The carts to carry luggage was awesome! Thanks! We'd stay there again!

Good in every way!

We were picked up at the airport after a very short wait by a very helpful and friendly van driver. The hotel is just across the street from Mall of America and an IKEA store -- the hotel offers a shuttle to the Mall but we walked. The hotel was under renovation but our floor had been completed -- the carpets, room decor, and bathroom was completely redone. The breakfast was excellent. This is a great place to be for shopping or for a nights stay between flights.

Ask about the Airplane noise and construction

The first night we were there the noise from the airplanes was loud. When we complained about it at the front desk they acted surprised that it was a problem. They said people are usually surprised they dont hear the planes and they gave us earplugs. The next 2 nights were not as bad. The only thing that helped is that the planes only flew between 6:00AM and 10:00PM. It's a problem if you want to sleep late. We had an end room on the 3rd floor and not sure if that made a difference. The hotel was doing remodeling while were there but that didnt bother us as much.

A great place to stay

The location is very convenient to the airport and the Mall of America (also an IIEA). Marriott always has comfortable beds. The shuttle picked us up at the airport very soon after we called and ran on a schedule to the mall and airport. The hotel was being renovated and everything was new and fresh. Breakfast was excellent! We could not find anything to complain about! We would recommend this hotel.

Under construction

When I booked this hotel, I didn't realize it was undergoing renovation. Our room had recenlty been renovated so that was fine. However, the lobby is a mess with construction, wires hanging ane workmen competing with guests for space. The breakfast is served in one room and then is eaten in several adjoining rooms. Also, this hotel seems to be directly under flight paths of the adjacent airport. The staff is friendly and are doing the best they can under difficult circumstances and it's a great location to walk to the Mall (or take the free shuttle). My suggestion would be to wait until construction is complete!

Great hotel

There were no refriderators or microwaves to heat food up or keep food cold. The staff were very nice and very helpful if we needed them.

"Great room for the money"

The kids enjoyed the pool and we enjoyed being so close to our target destination - the Mall of America!

Great Value

Rooms were clean and comfortable. Pool was great. Would have liked to have had a fridge in the room though. Overall though the hotel was a great value and in close proximety to the Mall of America.

Great Hotel

This is the second time we stayed at this hotel. It is very nice and surprisely quiet even though the airport is very close. We love the convenience of it being right by the Mall of America. We were in town for the State Track Meet - and it didn't take us long to commute there. Would definitely stay again.
