This is a pleasant stay for the money.

Needs overhauled

After making a reservation at this extended stay hotel on Black Canyon Highway, I definitely learned that it was a poor choice. My first room reaked like stale cigarette smoke, even tho I am occasional smoker, when I opened the door, the stinch was nasty.Someone needs to wash all the walls. Next problem was my key. It was always failing even after I went to the office and got a new key. The office moved me to another room which had some equipment issues like loud bathroom exhaust fan, smoke detector that needed calibration or service since it would sound after a shower. Bathroom fixtures were loose or worn out. In all honesty, it needs to be overhauled. Another issue I had was having to pay extra fees for clean linens, towels, bed made, etc. The hotels website pictures were not the rooms that I saw at the hotel itself. Bottom line people, you can stay at other places around the area that are much nicer for the same price and get clean linens, room, towels, soap, everyday. Don't waste your money here!

Canceled rest of reservation after first night.

The hotel was filthy. After walking around barefoot on the carpet, my feet were black! The carpeting was not just stained, but doubtfully had ever been cleaned. The telephone was extremely dirty also. The hotel and grounds were not well maintained. I stayed one night and cancelled the remainder of my reservation and stayed in another hotel.

Need new beds.

Hotel was clean. The beds were really hard and springy. If the beds were more comfortable I would recommend the hotel to friends and family.

Poor lighting all around; dark color carpet and bedspread made everything look dingy. Slooooow draining tub.

I should have paid attention to the comments of the other hotels.com reviews because they were right on. Staff was unsatisfactory, pool was growing green stuff on the bottom, bed was hard.
