Needs improvement

I was very surprised to find tiny soaps and no shampoos or lotions. Not an luxury hotel by any means. front desk was closed several times. it met our needs... but next time I'll bring more luxury with me. Furniture was pretty run down too.

Not bad for Price

The hotel was generally clean. Staff were very good, lots of parking on the compound. My only issue was with the smell. The carpets in the hallways in particular were very bad. I would also walk with air freshner if I were to stay again. Overall not bad. I would stay again.

needs improvement

the first room smelled of cat urine, the second of smoke. the third was good, alhtough smoke smell often wafted in from ?. bedspreads old, only one pillow, and none at front desk. no xtra pillows/blankets. location great! dennys at corner great. for the money it was allright.

Great Hotel, needs management...

The management is nowhere to be found. If you do not ask for clean towels, they will not replace if your stay is more than 1 night. Remember to ask for cleaning of your room and towel/coffee/etc...

A bargain

Given the quality of the room, the location and the time of year this was a pleasant surprise. I would stay here again.

Great for the money

I read a lot of reviews saying that the hotel staff was not friendly, things like that. However, every time we left the hotel the workers would usually say something and were very friendly, they asked personal questions like where were we from etc... It was not a very expensive place, and it was in a nice area of town, though a bit far from the beaches, especially if you don't have your own car.

SMOKEY

Everything was fine except the room was suposed to be non-smoking. It was not even close to being smoke free. If my wife would have been with me we would not have stayed. Other than that it was a good value.

Great for the money

The hotel has been recently remodeled and was in very good shape It is right at "Miracle Mile" with fantastic restaurants within walking distance and a very safe area to walk in. I was very satisfied with everything about this hotel except for the night help at the front desk. He just wasn't a people person. I was there for 3 nights for work and will stay there again when I return.

location is the upside

Location is great for spending time on Miracle Mile, but the hotel itself lacks appeal. Fixtures are obviously dated (dirty lightswitches, old air conditioner, small tv, rusty toaster and stained coffee maker). Shower needs are not provided beyond a tiny bar of soap and towels, so bring your own shampoo. The front desk did not answer my phone call after 3 attempts. When I went down stairs (7:30 pm) there was an uninterested girl sitting behind the counter who did little more than mumble. (Typical Miami service in other words)
