Best cheap hotel in San Jose

Best value for the money. The service and staff are always friendly and will help you out. Not the best breakfast, but good enough, and better than many. We try to stay at this hotel every time we are in town.

Needs Improvement

The room had to much light coming in from outside - (door) not sealed good enough. The cars in the parking lot keep having the alarms going off. The people on the secound floor sounded like they were having a party 24 hours. You could hear everything that was going on......

Awful...even if it's cheap

Only plus is it's close to the airport. Otherwise, the room is not clean. The walls are thin. The doors to the outside let in all the noise from the surrounding liquor store, bail bonds, and light rail train. I slept on top of the bed with my clothes on.

False Advertisement

I would like to say that this place was conveniently located near the airport but the room service was not upto par, there was no iron at first and when I did get one it leaked a lot, the AC was not the best, the front desk staff seemed to be annoyed with simple-short questions and the ironing board was broken. Good things were the location, beds were not hard as a rock, breakfast and Wifi.

Not bad.

I stayed here for a week. Good situation. Friday ans Saturday were noisy. All girls soccor team rocked out.

Need Improvement

I have stayed several times and all the rooms are stuffy. Ohter than that service is great

Great room for the money

I stayed at the hotel for 3 days because of a conference in a hotel close by. The hotel staff was very friendly and prompt. The room was very clean and a steal for the money. An added plus was the free breakfast in the morning. It definitely saved me $15-$20 over the 3 days. There is train station within 2-3 min walking distance, so that is also good. Not pretty sure about the neighborhood as I just used to come to sleep. There are plenty of restaurants (mainly asian) nearby so food is not a problem. One negative point is that they do not have an airport shuttle on the weekend. Overall very satisfied and will definitely stay again.

Great Hotel...almost perfect experience

So I reserved this hotel and after reading other reviews I wasnt quite sure what to expect. When we arrived at the airport it did take the cab a little while to arrive to pick us up but hey its free what can you expect. The hotel staff was very friendly and attended us well. The room was clean and very nice. The free wifi was a plus as other hotels i looked at didnt offer it. I had read that there was noise from the light rail but in fact I heard no noise from the rail at all. The only bad thing about my experience with this hotel is that I had a few "noisy" neighbors who were having some "fun" and i couldnt really get any sleep. All in all it was a great hotel great staff and good experience. I fully recommend this hotel to any one.

needs improvement

We loved our stay at the hotel and only had a couple of issues: the air conditioner did not work, therefore, it was a little too warm in the room. On our last of 3 days there, the internet quit working and an employee was unable to fix it. Other than that, the people were very nice and pleasant.

Good Option for Jazz Festival

Newer TV would be good.

Would not visit this hotel again

The motel was gross - dirty and stained linens, mildew in the tub, walls banged up, smelled of smoke and chemicals, bad neighborhood. I got the feeling that many guests resided in the motel full-time, which is some indication of the type of establishment this is. Staff was cordial, nothing exceptional. It was the dirtiest hotel I've ever visited, which is saying a lot for a person who has traveled the globe, staying at budget hostels and hotels the whole time. I would not visit this hotel again.
