Trip Type: Family Review 1 of 5Total lack of concern
The elevator door closed on my hand as I was getting on!A hotel staff member had to push the emergance button to stop the thing from going down!I managed to pull my hand out ripping half of one of my fingernails off. The employee said you need to go down to the service desk on the ground floor and report this, and then he got off on the second floor!! I had to push my bags off the lift with my foot. Then when I walk up with blood running down my arm and tell the guy at the service desk what happened, he says wait here I'll call someone and he goes back to answering the phone!20 minutes later a guy shows up with a med kit,but no gloves.By this time I've done washed off the blood and applied presure to stop the bleeding.I end up opening the box of bandaids and doctoring my self!! Then he says we'll get that door looked at and then he leaves!

Trip Type: Business Review 2 of 5Not worth it
On Thur the wireless internet was down most of the day. Morning clerk said they knew about it and were fixing it. Called back a few hours later new clerk and he didn't know it was down. NO CONINENTAL BREAKFAST... the breakfast in the dining restaurant is to be paid for there n then or charged to your room. Had prob with coffee maker and called the room service and was charged for 2 cups of coffee. The food in big dining restaurant was not worth it's money. There was no working vent in the bathroom. The refirgerator drip pan for freezer was not put into there secure and dumped all over my feet and cast. Without warning on Thur the POOL WAS CLOSED as they were putting in a new boiler so we were unable to relax and go to the pool at all. When I called the front desk and asked since pool was closed what were hours of restaurants and bars..8 pm. So I asked if there was anything open we could do....the clerk on the phone said restaurant and bar and hung up on me.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 3 of 5Worked for us...
The room and hotel were extremely convenient for the event which we attended -- a swim meet. My only wish was that there were more cost-friendly options for meals during this event. I was also disappointed that they advertise the "galleria" for which NOTHING was open, not even the small convenience store that you could actually see had products in it. Perhaps this was just a bad time of the year...but when you have an event like a swim meet where families are staying in the hotel and have children swimming all day - it would have been helpful to have some basics available.

Trip Type: Business Review 4 of 5Not so good
Nowhere to eat and nothing to do after 8:00pm on weekdays. Rooms are outdated and musty. Next time I'll stay at one of the newer hotels adjacent to the interstate.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 5 of 5Needs Improvement
A functional elevator would have been nice; I have a prosthetic leg! All of the knobs on the lamps would have been good. A clean balcony to the Paducah barge river. A shower drain that drained. Timely room service would have been helpful though it wasn't that long of a wait. Too many chiefs not enough indians. Otherwise the bed was ccomfortable.
