Trip Type: Not Provided Review 16 of 44good value
The lobby is wonderful ... and air-conditioned. We were there during an unusual May heat wave; our room was 84 degrees at night, with the French doors wide open. Fortunately, the lobby was cool so we watched the Sunday soccer game on their flat screen TV. The room was extremely small (8'by 12', including the bathroom) but we had read the reviews and were prepared (sort of!). Since our room overlooked the street (hence the French doors which opened onto a 4' by 8' balcony), we caught all the noise, which was considerable since there is a pub at the end of the block (which had good burgers!). Overall, very good value for this hotel -- just be prepared for the noise and the tiny rooms ... which balance the great location and the incredibly low price.

Trip Type: Business Review 17 of 44London Hotel on the cheap
The room was quite small, but that was no surprise. Clean and quiet. The price was right.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 18 of 44Great hotel for the price
I have to say the hotel was better than I expected. The lobby area is really nice. We booked a 2 bed and we got a triple, so our room was pretty spacious. the rooms were very clean and i liked the fact that we needed to put in a key for the power. i would recommend it if you're planning to stay most of the day out or if you're staying for 1or 2 nights as the walls are pretty thin and our only night there, we had to deal with the people downstairs complaining of noise (we had just being there like 15 minutes)

Trip Type: Romance Review 19 of 44great location, not so great room
The surrounding area of this hotel is great, tons of restaurants and 2 minute walk from the subway on a side street with minimal noise. However, the hotel room itself was extremely cramped. I had to put my suitcase on top of the closet because there was only room to put one on a tiny baggage rack. Also, the cleaning service was terrible. They would only change our sheets if we took them off and left them on the floor...they barely cleaned the bathroom either, just a surface cleaning job. Be aware that there is a charge for everything (internet costs 2 pounds for a half an hour...and it was dial-up speed (!) even though they claimed it was broadband service...in-room movie prices are outrageous, and it cost $10 to use the safe). Overall, we had a good time during our stay thanks to our location relative to Central London. The hotel had nothing to do with it.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 20 of 44Great Value, Excellent Location
This hotel met all the criteria I had: affordable, in a safe and convenient location, clean, private bathrooms, and quiet. It's only a few minutes walk to local dining (including several inexpensive pubs, coffee shops, Indian restaurants, fast food places, and even a small grocery store to pick up inexpensive breakfast options and incidentals). It's also very convenient to Kings Cross tube station which is only a few stops away from central London. The rooms are small, but that's to be expected when traveling on a budget in Europe. I've already commented to everyone I know about how satisfied I was with this hotel, and look forward to staying here on future trips to London!

Trip Type: Family Review 21 of 44Rooms are cozy
The hotel lobby and restaurant are nice, but the size of the room and bathroom were disappointingly small. Still, for the rate, I suppose I should be satisfied. Still a bit of a shock.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 23 of 44Small but very convenient
Clean, friendly and very convenient to the underground. Surrounded by a wide variety of restaurants, wine bars and cafes. Internet access readily available from lots of places. Rooms are tiny - with no space to move around and hardly any space for luggage. But, if you only show up to sleep there - you can handle it.

Trip Type: Romance Review 24 of 44You get what you pay for
This was one of the best "deals" to be had in London. Good location to the tube station in a nice neighborhood. Hotel lobby is nice, but its obvious thats where they spent all their money. Room was pretty run down, but then when you're traveling on the cheap in London, you can't expect much. I'd only recommend this hotel to those who want to save a buck or two and don't care about the condition/size of room.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 25 of 44Find another hotel
The hotel is old, the location is great to use the tube or bus. The room is really smal with 2 twin beds. the room was uncomfortable and it was cold by the window and hot away from it. I would say for just a little bit more you can find a better hotel. I would not stay here again.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 28 of 44Great for anyone going out and about
My room (#405) was sufficient for my requirements: double bed, toilet, shower, TV, mirrors, the bare minimum walking space around the bed to the bathroom, and two short walking steps from the toilet to the shower. My stay was during the second week of December 2007, so what control I had over the radiator-provided heat was to open the window. The hot water from the shower was always available when I showered (usually late morning or late night), though there was a moment one late night where washing my hands the water got no warmer than lukewarm. The hotel staff was generally friendly. The key to my room also has a large plastic key necessary to turn on the electricity for my room. When leaving the hotel I had to return the key to the front desk on the way out, so there's no opportunity to lose the key. Upon my return, the staff recognised me by the second day as the guy in 405, so there IS a bit of a personal touch. I could hear people milling about in the hallway from inside my room which is only irritating if you're trying to sleep, but it never reached a level where something had to be done about it. Oh, and the elevator is fairly slow-moving and small (fits two people with luggage at best). It's an old building. One must adapt. The hotel location in Kensington is extremely convenient and within easy walking distance from Earl's Court Station of the Underground (subway), two or three national banks with ATMs, McDonald's, Burger King, Subway, a decent grocery store, three Internet cafes, three or four pubs, decent restaurants and a keen bakery. I'd certainly stay there again as a single or with one other person.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 29 of 44A great value in central London
This hotel is a little gem perfect for travelers who are not hung up on having an American-sized room. The lobby/lounge has been recently refurbished with sleek, modern furniture. Rooms are big enough and bathroom was so clean and new it sparkled. Front desk staff exteremely helpful and trustworthy. Location 1 block from Earl's Court tube stop with access to Picadilly, Circle and District lines was fantastic The Enterprise is an excellent choice if you want to have a clean, safe, well appointed room conveniently located to the tube in order to see the major sites in London. If you want to lay around the hotel all day, you're better off with a different property. Business travelers might get frustrated with the very small desk area, and families with children might feel cramped.
