Trip Type: Romance Review 1 of 3Outstanding Hotel & Service, Incredible Views
We had a great stay at this hotel. It's outside the city of Santa Fe, but it's a quick drive - just a few exits north in Tesuque. And, it was so nice to be able to visit the touristy things in SF and come back to the quiet, star-filled oasis here. First, the room is really beautifully done and has sophisticated design. We were in a Vista Casita, so we had incredible sunset views as well. We really enjoyed the kiva fireplaces as well in the morning, especially the last one when we were lucky enough to have snow! The property itself has a couple of great hikes along the ridge (one short, one long), that we really enjoyed. Another thing we really enjoyed was the bathroom - the tub is huge, and especially after walking the plaza all day in the cold, was a really nice respite. The staff were very friendly and attentive as well - at the desk, for the room, and the restaurant. We had a couple issues (that didn't even really bother us), that were taken care of immediately and they even comp'd a breakfast and gave us a credit when we checked out. I had deliberated between this hotel and a really nice in-town hotel, but I'm really happy I went with this one. It was just nice to be out of town a bit, enjoy those expansive views at this hotel, and also the casita was just incredibly comfortable & private.

Trip Type: Romance Review 2 of 3Luxury in a magnificent landscape
This hotel is priced at the luxury level for Santa Fe but I have to say that you REALLY do get a lot for your money. When you consider all of the little things that add so much richness to your stay, it really is very well priced. We stayed in a pinon casita and it was filled with such wonderful amenities including a kiva fireplace that uses real wood, a Keurig coffee maker with pods, unlimited delicious soft drinks and fruit juices in the refrigerator, slippers, robe, great bath products, patio with natural view and comfy furniture, and plenty more. Everything is done with great thought and the staff was simply wonderful. I also recommend the Terra restaurant -- simply excellent.
