Trip Type: Family Review 1 of 570Good Overall
Our stay was good, the hotels only down fall is that it is an older building so it has many loud noises making it difficult to sleep without ear plugs. Other than that I would definitely recommend it and would stay there again.

Trip Type: Business Review 2 of 570Room comfort
there is no ventilation in the bathroom, so the room is mildewy. there is a down mattress cover, and the a/c didn't cool very well. if you have allergies you will have a difficult time. the room and decor is beautiful, the hotel is very nice and the location is incredible.

Trip Type: Business Review 4 of 570Bad Experience
I'm sure that this hotel is better than my experience, but whatever you do don't stay in Room 118. First of all, I was right over construction which the hotel can't help, but then it just went downhill from there. I didn't have a clock radio and when I called for a wake up call they never called. I was awaken at 930 AM on Saturday by someone more or less hammering through my wall. It was so loud in the bathroom that the noise against the tile pierced my ears. I complained and they couldn't do anything until the next day. They moved my room but not until after 5PM. They said they would move my bags. I had to go to a show at night for work and didn't get home until very late. When I woke up the next morning my bags were not in the new room and when I called down to get them because I needed to shower and catch my flight home it took 45 minutes for them to finally bring them up stairs. The hotel itself is pretty good for a NYC hotel having a proper lobby, bar and restaurant but the service was subpar at best. I travel to NYC alot for work and will not be using this hotel again.

Trip Type: Business Review 6 of 570Outstanding hotel and location
I had stayed in this hotel twice before its renovation and had a good experience. This time I had a great experience. The location, of course, is fantastic, but the room was amazing. Only one quirk, it was hard to figure out the fancy shower head. Very helpful, friendly staff. Loved the spa-like atmosphere.

Trip Type: Business Review 8 of 570Trendy hot spot
This hotel has got a great energy to it at the bar, its next-door restaurant and roof top bar. Rooms are on the small and cramped side of the equation given the price range (even for New York), but acceptable if you have ear plugs to combat the A/C-heating unit, which noise is amplified because of the small size of the room.

Trip Type: Romance Review 9 of 570Great Location, Small Room, Lousy Plumbing
We expected a NY small hotel room and got it. The plumbing fixtures where cheap (hot water really hot, sink drain worked manually with my fingernails (ooh all the goo). Otherwise it was fine. The location can't be beat even though a bit noisy. The club upstairs is wonderful and the staff was pretty nice.

Trip Type: Rest and Recreation Review 13 of 570Upper West Side Charm
Very nice place in even better neighborhood. You can't beat the Upper West Side. A block from Central Park and 2 from Columbus Circle, you are literally directly across the street from the front steps of Lincoln Center. 4 of us stayed in a dual double room. It was a bit cramped, but we were in New York... we weren't exactly spending all our time in the room! The roof top bar/club was a bit too cool for school, but it's New York... what do expect? All in all, a great place to stay.

Trip Type: Business Review 14 of 570Location is the reason
to stay here. The rooms are extremely small - about three feet of space between bed and wall on all three sides. Bathroom tiny but the shower (like rain falling from above) was great. The room was clean and use of space efficient. View was interior and ugly (pipes and ducts), but that meant the room was quiet (no street noise. The location next to Lincoln Center is the best. Also helping the location is the fact that there is a Starbucks and Duane Reed right downstairs.
