    We stayed here in 1997 and the hotel has since been completely renovated. The location is perfect...we never needed a car and were all able to do our own thing if desired. The room was very large...plenty of room for a blow-up bed if one was needed. Beautiful hotel, inside and out...don't think I'd ever stay anywhere else in San Antonio!!

Location. The Emily Morgan Hotel is located in downtown San Antonio, Texas, adjacent to the Alamo and one block from the famed San Antonio River Walk. The Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center and the Majestic Theater are less than five blocks from the hotel.

Hotel Features. The Emily Morgan Hotel's exterior showcases baroque-architecture housing contemporary urban interiors. The Oro Restaurant and Bar's décor complements the hotel's polished stone foyer and features candle-lit settings with regional Texas cuisine. Early evenings at the restaurant offer drink specials and complimentary appetizers. More than 4,000 square feet of meeting space are available, including a library with a double-sided stone fireplace that adjoins the lobby. Wireless Internet access is available, for a fee. A stainless-steel pool overlooks the San Antonio skyline. The 24-hour, pool-view fitness center includes cardiovascular and strength-training equipment, and free weights.

Guestrooms. The 14-story Emily Morgan Hotel offers 177 guestrooms featuring views of the Alamo and San Antonio skyline. Bedding includes down feather-topped bedding and 300-thread count linens. Wireless Internet access is available for a fee. Mahogany furniture includes high-backed headboards and armoires. Coffeemakers with complimentary coffee are provided.
