Trip Type: Special Event Review 2 of 125Not like my first time to this hotel
This was our second time visiting our daughter at UCSD. There were equipment missing out of our room that we had to request. Right in front of the elevator which was noisy. My youngest said that she felt the springs from the Sofa bed. Which we were disappointed this trip. However, the hotel itself is nice. They have a cook for breakfast that will cook any style eggs you would like. Breakfast is complete. There is a Gym has barbell weights and adjustable weight bench so I could exercise good. Great treadmills for runners. Pool area was nice. 25 feet in front of hotel is PF Chang's, across the street is a nice outdoor mall. I truely recommend this hotel. You will see others complaint about the parking issue but other than that is a great hotel.

Trip Type: Family Review 5 of 125Great value for the money
Overall a very satisfying family experience. Excellent managment team assures friendly staff and clean rooms but the carpet in our room needed to be replaced (nothing bad, just on the verge of becoming something bad).

Trip Type: Special Event Review 8 of 125Outstanding Hotel
Room was set up to fit our family of two children and 2 adults with lots of room to spread out. Outlets for cell phones, computers, etc were conveniently located by the beds for charging.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 10 of 125Great room for the price
Embassy Suites has always been a nice and familiar hotel. But this last weekend was great. I would have been happy with the room had I paid twice than I did. Bed was comfortable. Room was surprising. I read the reviews after I booked the room and saw a lot of people were upset with the parking. Compared to the room, I did not mind. They give you an toothbrush and other little things if you forgot them yourself. The fitness room has the latest treadmill, barbells for us weightlifter. Even an incline chair for exercising the back and arms. They have a PF Chang restaurant 25 feet in front of the hotel for you Chinese food lovers. Mall within walking distance. Area was nice. For you parents that need to visit your child at UCSD, book this hotel. You will be comfortable from moving all the luggage to the dorm's.

Trip Type: Family Review 11 of 125Excellent choice!
The overall appearance of the hotel was amazing; the partial glass elevators are really nice and looking down onto the koi pools are really cool. I breakfast offered to us was awesome...to get all of that as complimentary is unbeliveable...better than the buffets we paid for in Las Vegas. I will always stay at an Embassy Suite hereafter, hopefully all will just as nice or better than San Diego-La Jolla's. Thanks for a wonderful time.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 12 of 125dont try to sleep on the pull out sofa
Overall this hotel was o.k.We booked a king with a pullout sofa for my daugher. The pullout was so bad she slept on the couch, which was too small and she only got a few hours of sleep.Plus they charged more for the third person.Plus more for parking.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 13 of 125Exceeded expectations
My husband and I only stayed 1 night, but was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable the bed was and the evening offerings of cocktails and appetizers, then again in the morning a cook to order breakfast. Found a great deal on Hotels.com for this room. Was layed out with a separate living room that could be closed off from the bedroom. Nice, clean hotel close to a retail mall, within walking distance to a chain restaurant and ATMs. All around a good experience.

Trip Type: Family Review 15 of 125Great choice
This is a great hotel for the family, the suite can give a privacy for the adult if you want to stay up a bit late and the kids can sleep in the room. The hotel is very clean and the setting is very bright and open so, it makes the overall feel very comfortable. The only camplaint i have is the air condition system is so loud. My son and I could woke up in the middle of night because of starting of fan for the air conditioner. The next night, i would just rather kept the fan on all night. It was better than it woke you up in the middle of night when the fan turned on. Overall, it's good choice with a very reasonable price for a family.
