Trip Type: Family Review 1 of 75Perfect location and oerfect accomodations
The Double tree Centennial has not only a beautiful location but a very practical one for seeing sights in Atlanta. Most sights can easily be reached by foot or by subway in less than a half an hour. The Hotel looks down on Centennial park and across to the bright headline light of CNN. The rooms are large, comfortable bed and great breakfast!

Trip Type: Business Review 3 of 75Great Hotel, Great location
Room was very comfortable. Very good restaurant. Close to everything. The only drawback was that I was expecting at the end of the day to jump in the hot tub and it was cold. Important to me if your on a business trip and on your feet all day long.

Trip Type: Family Review 4 of 75Great family value
Considering the excellent breakfast selections and the free evening reception (wine, beer, cocktails and nonalcoholic drinks) this was a great place to stay. Close to everything downtown, plenty of space for a family of 5. Would definitely stay there again. City Pass a good buy as well to see the "touristy" attractions without feeling bankrupt!

Trip Type: Romance Review 5 of 75Another great visit
I have stayed at this Embassy many times because it's so convenient to the Georgia Aquarium, the Phipps Arena, the Georgia Dome, and CNN Center, just to need a few. The only pet peeve I have with it is that it features a Ruth's Chris restaurant! Many families with children stay here and I don't think they can afford such a pricey steak house to eat inside the hotel. There really isn't any good, reasonably priced restaurants within walking distance of this hotel's location. There is McCormick & Schmicks, not quite as expensive as Ruth's Chris, and some Chinese joints. CNN Center has the usual fast-food chains. Get us a great, reasonably priced family restaurant inside the Embassy!

Trip Type: Family Review 9 of 75Good family hotel
Embassy Suites Downtown at Centennial Olympic Park is a good choice for families who are sightseeing in Atlanta. The hotel is within easy walking distance of the Georgia Aquarium, Coca-Cola Museum, CNN complex (Inside CNN Tour)and the Children's Museum. It is also also within walking distance of many restaurants.

Trip Type: Family Review 12 of 75Fantastic location
The hotel and staff were great. It is an easy walk to the Georgia Aquarium and Worlf of Coke. When you walk out the door you are in Centennial Park, great place for the kids to play at. We went to Turner field in the evening and it was a very very short drive to it. Would love to stay there again.

Trip Type: Family Review 13 of 75Not Impressed At All
To begin, we had to wait over 30 minutes for the valet parking. Our room was not ready until 4:30 p.m. even though check in was to begin at 3 p.m. Upon entering the room, we found the A/C turned off and the room to be unreasonably hot. When maintenance finally was able to get the A/C working, the room never cooled off to a comfortable temperature. Aside from the front desk staff, in general the employees of the hotel were surly and not helpful. Room service was not friendly, and was rude on the phone. The breakfast was disorganized and poorly stocked. One line had no plates, utensils, or napkins. The eggs were undercooked and runny, and only one drink station had coffee. Tables were not being cleared, so no seating was available either.

Trip Type: Family Review 14 of 75Horrible Check-in
The check in process was horrible. First it took forever for the valet to find a cart for our luggage. Then once I got in I stood in a line of 3 for a hour. That was riddiculous. The beds are comfortable, liked the new tv's, and the breakfast was great!
