Trip Type: Not Provided Review 1 of 158Great Sweet!
I was not expecting much from this place because of the low cost for a suite, but holy crap! The sweet was awesome! It was about the same price for a sweet here as a small room anywhere else, and I was amazed at how nice it was! They had a free shuttle service, and a bar right next door lol. We chose to park in their parking structure overnight which was only $10.

Trip Type: Family Review 3 of 158Great room and location!!!!
I took my family up to Cleveland for an Indians game and stayed at the Embassy Suites Downtown. The hotel was very nice for the money. The happy hour was an awesome bargain. Free drinks and snacks for 2 hours!!! The walk to the stadium was not bad at all!!

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 4 of 158Not the typical Embassy
I liked the location of this hotel in relation to all of the sporting and touristy places downtown. I also like the room that was more like an apartment with the bedroom down a side hall. This and the overall difference of the hotel design made this an extra ordinary experience. I do wish that more Embassys would offer better happy hour treats. At one in Louisiana I had fried catfish that was better than most of the food in the general area.

Trip Type: Family Review 8 of 158Great room for the Money
7 of us stayed in 2 rooms for 5 nights. The rooms were located next door to each other. It was great because we were on the floor with the restaurant, the bar, the arcade and the business office - very nice! The staff was great. Valet persons, front desk workers, housekeeping - all very nice. They actually got to know us and we were treated very well. We'd definitely stay there again. The only drawback was that the hotel was a little older, but this was easily overlooked.

Trip Type: Family Review 9 of 158Not worth the money
Very excited about our first ever trip to Cleveland but disappointed with the hotel. Only one elevator worked the entire weekend; people were standing 25-30 deep at times waiting. Hotel front desk staff had no personality and were very impatient with the guests who became very frustrated over the course of the weekend. Breakfast buffet we had to wait on silverware, plates and then the food was cold. Have never had a bad experience at an Embassy Suites in 20 years but this one proved to be a big disappointment. Hotel was conveniently located to major attractions, room was clean and spacious.

Elevator's were slow and broken. The room could have been a little cleaner. Overall good.

Stayed 2 nights during the Tiger's vs. Indian's series. Walked to the stadium from the hotel. Very convenient. Elevators were always very slow. Restaurant was very nice along with bar. Overall a wonderful stay. :)

Trip Type: Family Review 13 of 158Seriously?
I was very excited to stay at the Embassy because I've always enjoyed them in other cities, but this stay was not what I expected. Upon arrival I was told that check in was an hour later than my confirmation said.. no big deal I'll wait in the lobby. After that one hour and about 10 extra minutes the receptionist told me very coldly that it would be probably about 30-40 more minutes. At that point I asked for her manager, whom I never actually met, and was put into another room. The room was ok, not bad but not great. The rest of the stay was fine. The breakfast was good and the staff there was very friendly, but the dumb receptionist ruined it for us.

Trip Type: Family Review 15 of 158Great Value
Very large rooms which are well maintained but not necessairly that well cleaned. Vent in shower was disgusting and trash can in bathroom had not been emptied from previous guest. Staff was very welcoming and helpful in the lobby area. All attendents at the breakfast were very friendly and attentive. Would certainly stay here again.
