Trip Type: Romance Review 2 of 8No Place to Park & No Place to Sleep!
I went there because the user ratings were so high, and it seem that way when we arrived but once in the room the troubles began. Humid walls with paint flaking in the room & bath. But the most horrible (and I mean horrible) was the bed. It bounced like a trampoline, and I am not exaggerating. But even that we could live with but the bed was so small that my wife and I we could not possibly sleep together there and we are not overweight. Needless to say we had to leave immidiately due tot the bed issue; Also NO PARKING AVAILABLE AT NIGHT they could keep my $85 Bucks but I'll never be back again!

Trip Type: Business Review 3 of 8Relaxing and Low Key
If you love history and ambiance you'll love this hotel. I felt as if I had gone back in time. There are a quaint little ice cream shop, barber shop and restaurants on the first floor. There's also an old style reception area(I assume is original), old time elevator that has to be run by the staff, fire place, sitting area and piano in the lobby area. As far as service, it could have been better. You have to dial a long distance number from your cell phone to get someone. Also, you won't find any modern conveniences in the entire place(no phones in the rooms, no internet, no large tv, no hot tub or gym). Just a nice, antique decorated room with comfortable linens and all the original wood trim. The hotel is still undergoing some renovations and will be even nicer when complete. It was a very quiet, relaxing stay and I would stay there again.

Trip Type: Romance Review 5 of 8Nice Bed and Breakfast
It's a very nice b&b located in a beautiful town. The location is nice for easy access to local restaurants and shops. The service is good, and the breakfast is delicious. An added plus is convenient and free parking.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 7 of 8Funky but nice
Check-in required us to make a phone call. Turned out we were calling someone on the second floor, but since we got voice mail we weren't sure. Suggested they change the sign to make it clearer. Lovely old restored hotel, it's really a Bed and Breakfast. Breakfast was fantastic - most anything one could want. People were friendly, and we could bring our Yorkie!!! Nice neighborhood with several dining choices in a pretty little town.
