Trip Type: With Friends Review 1 of 265Great Experience for the money
When we got to the hotel, we were super exhausted from a long drive. The hotel front desk staff were courteous and precise. When we got to our room, though, they'd gotten the room wrong - we'd reserved a king bed and instead had 2 queen beds. We didnt' want to make a stink about it, but since we'd paid extra for the larger bed, we addressed it with the front desk staff. We were so impressed because they immediately admitted their mistake and gave us a much bigger room with a king bed, and we were very comfortable with our stay. This hotel is very close to Disneyland and we were able to walk there in no time at all, and eat at nearby restaurants. We knew we didn't want to swim when we were there, and it's a good thing we didn't (the pool is kinda small) but other than that, the room was great (Great water pressure!).

Trip Type: Family Review 2 of 265Great Price
We did Disneyland on a budget and staying at Eden let us keep to our planned budget. It was clean, quiet and very close to the parks. I would stay there again.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 4 of 265Tiny, beaten up hotel
It looks OK from the street & website pictures, but the hotel room was small...TINY, in need of repair, with inadequate lighting ( I had to provide more light by bringing in a lamp myself), NO closet, no bathroom lock, & paint was peeling on the cracked walls. If all you need is a cheap (in every sense of the word) place to crash over night, shower and change clothes, then this place will do. It is NOT a fancy or homey place at all. It looks & feels like a place that "working girls" that you see in film & TV would rent by the hour. Its cheap & dumpy. Period. BUT, as I said, if you're not staying long, it's the right price. Hey, no roaches or ants! It's got that going for it.

Trip Type: Family Review 5 of 265good deal for the cost
Older hotel but fairly clean and a very nice staff. Great deal for the money. We spent most of the day at Disneyland and it was nice to have a close place to crash for the night.

Trip Type: Family Review 7 of 265Horrible place to stay.
We stayed at the Eden Roc Inn on Halloween weekend and the hotel was a nightmere. The room was filthy. There where stains on the carpet and the bed spreads where dirty. The bathroom shower did not drain and the drain in both the shower and sink omitted a horrible smell. Was not worth even the small amount of money we payed.

Trip Type: Family Review 8 of 265Worse hotel I ever stayed inn
The room had a terrible paint and mold smell, I asked to move rooms and they said they were full when they were not. The maid threw away my kids birthday bag, the towels were small and stained brown and the breakfast was terrible.

Trip Type: Family Review 10 of 265Great experience
My family and I stayed a total of 3 nights at the hotel and everything was great really good location with in walking distnace the guy at the frot desk was really friendly and was helpful when I asked questions. The room was older not a place where you are going to get room services but if you are looking for a place to sleep and not spend so much money this is the place.

Trip Type: Family Review 11 of 265DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!!!!!!!
We stayed four nights and the room got clean once only because we had to ask, and the housekeeper was very rude. We had to go to the front office to get our towels everyday, then the towels were like sandpaper and had holes. The room was disgusting and from the 50's,the carpets were filthy, the bathroom had black mold and the shower was so nasty that we needed to wear shoes to take a shower. We froze at night because the wall unit a/c-Heater was so old that it only blew cold air. You can't open the windows because they are too old and don't roll unless you had to force it to get it open and there is only like 10 tv channels and no internet despite their advertisement. The walk to disney was about 15 minutes but you must go thru the disneyland hotel to get there or you will walk all the way around. People are very loud and can't sleep. there is two restaurnats next door and have pretty good food. Do yourself a favor and spend the money and stay in a better hotel.

Trip Type: Family Review 12 of 265Your getting what you pay for here
This poor hotel has seen better days. I think it was probably as clean as it could get. Our mattress was the most uncomfortable thing I ever slept on discovered near the end of stay that box spring was broken. After returning the first day to no towels & having to track down the maid we decided to leave the do not disturb sign & clean up after ourselves. The room was much larger than expected (our room was like the size of a very small apt) the location was great office can give walking directions that will get you to downtown disney in less than 10 mins. If you need that badly to save the extra money and won't be in the room much the location at least is pretty good just be prepared that you are getting what you paid for here. The hotels on Harbor at maingate would be my choice next time around. I would only recommend to someone I know with a strong warning of what to expect.

Trip Type: Business Review 13 of 265Nice older hotel
Staff personnel were very nice. this is a old hotel that has not been updated. But it was just right for my stay. I just needed a place to sleep and shower. The bed was a little firm and the towels were small, but once again for the price it was fine.

Trip Type: Business Review 14 of 265Worse Hotel I have ever stayed at, even for the cheap price!
I travel a lot for work, and am used to staying at less than perfect hotels, but Eden Roc is by far the worse hotel/motel I have ever stayed at. I have stayed at other cheapy hotel branches like Motel 6 and Super 8 that were a lot nicer then Eden Roc. When you first check in, the lobby are is rediculously small and there was only one person working the front desk. There were 2 other people in line ahead of me, resulting in me standing in line outside the front door (that's how small the lobby area is.) The person at the front desk was very friendly and got me checked in fairly fast, but everything went down hill from there. Ther rooms themselves are very small and extrememly old and outdated. Eden Roc is listed as a 2 star hotel, but I have stayed at 1 star hotels that were much nicer and better kept. The walls are so thin I constantly heard the tv from the room nextdoor and the footsteps from the person above. The beds were very hard, and all the linens in the room seemed as though they were bought when the hotel first openned and were never updated. The rooms themselves were very outdated and worn, and although it seemed like housekeeping did their best to keep things clean and tidy, the room just had a horrible aged feeling to it. The bathroom had cracks all over the sinks and tub, and the towels were very cheaply made and scratched your skin if you use them. The hotel provided you with one bar of less then desireable soap and one small bottle of shampoo, and they did not replenish it until you called the front desk to ask for additional supply. For the price I paid for this hotel (and it was a very inexpensive price) it was not worth it. The location is ok, since it was walking distance to the convention center and there were a few restaraunts near by. Over all, you can get a much better value and deal at the other local hotels/motels. The other places might be a buck or two more expensive per night, but I am sure anything is better then Eden Roc.
