"Great Internet "

Positives: -Great wireless internet. No hassle logging on. Much better than the wired crap. -Very clean. Negatives: -Could not find parking late at night. -TV had a crappy picture.

I stay here a lot

It is an older motel, but the rooms are clean and the beds comfortable. I stay here a lot.

It feels like a motel

It looks like it used to be a motel. It looks liike they rent by the hour also. The place is dirty, disgusting. For the price I couldve stayed in a better hotel near. Don't stay here

Needs Improvement

not happy with the room I can get better hotel with the same amount , at night 11 PM I was trying to purchase water bottles from vending machines one machine is out of service another is out of stock and inside the room there is no drinking water facility ,bath room is very small but have huge parking lot (I like this) .The front desk agent is very kind and helping nature guy helped me to get a cab to NJ Transit train station

Needs some work

Although it is the least expensive room close to the Newark Airport, I am surprised that the Econo Lodge chain is willing to keep their name associated with it. It is in serious need of a redo but unfortunately its location in a light industrial neighborhood probably precludes this as its only competitive edge is its low price. I took the room as it was about 18 dollars less than the next alternative and traveling by myself I figured that the one night in the sad room wouldn't kill me but I would not have stayed there if I was traveling with family or for more than one night. But in all fairness, the sheets were clean, the shower had hot water and the shuttle bus left on time and for me with a 7 am flight only needing a room for 6 hours it was enough. The survey asked if I would recommend the hotel - I answered no but if I was traveling alone and money was a determining factor than I would change my answered to a reserved yes.

I got more than what I expected

This hotel, for the price, was very good. I just wanted a place to sleep in between my trips. The hotel staff, especially the shuttle driver were very courteous and friendly. It wasn't in the best of neighborhood, but I didn't feel unsafe. They have a restaurant on the premises and they have a free breakfast in the moring from certain hours. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Pleasantly surprised

This hotel is in a ok neighborhood, but the hotel staff, especially the shuttle driver, were very courteous and nice. The hotel room was kind of old, but for what I paid for, it was good. They have a restaurant on the premises and in the morning, they have free breakfast starting @ 5 am to I don't know what time it ends. I would recommend it.

Terrible

My experience at this hotel was terrible. The celings felt like my head was going to hit it... The bed had a big slump in the middle of it. The room stunk terribly of chemicals and there was no parking by our room, we had to walk accross the whole parking lot. I wuold never go there and would try my best to talk anyone else out of it if they were planning to go there.

small problems

Overall we were satisfied with our room. The two disappointments were that there was no coffee pot nor microwave.

Nice place for one night stay

I think you won't find chipper hotel in these area. Nevertheless, the room was damp and stinking.

BAD HOTEL

this is the worse hotel I've ever stay in.I don't recommend it to anybody. It is dirty all the time, the rooms are small and unconfortable, the TV never works,you have to keep calling the front desk to fix the cable, internet conneccion is very low, sometimes the toilet doesn't flush, and the srvice is poor. !!!PLEASE DON'T BOOK THIS HOTEL!!!!
