Trip Type: Family Review 1 of 19You get what you pay for
It was purely basic. There was no bells and whistles. It was right on the beach so that was a plus. The parking is a mess. Wi-fi was a low signal. But defiantly not a luxury place. It served its purpose. If I go again I will probably stay there again. Cheap and affordable.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 2 of 19Really Nice for price of room and location.
Our two grand-daughters, who talked us into taking them to Myrtle Beach before school started for them really enjoyed the closeness of the beach and the pool.

Trip Type: Business Review 4 of 19Will stay here again
I've stayed here twice in the last month. I've stayed in a a single king room, a double, and a suite. If you get the king, bring an extension cord, b/c the power outlets are in short supply. We did not have the problem in the other rooms, though. Also, see my previous review for more info.

Trip Type: Family Review 5 of 19Stay somewhere else
The (poolside, 1st floor) room smelled of urine. The sofa bed was not only broken and didn't open, but the sofa cushions were covered with fresh urine stains. The carpet stunk of urine too. Complained and got a dirty rollaway. The armoir door fell off when we opened it to hang some clothes. We were stuck with this room. Don't even ask about the hot tub. The only good thing was the pool and beach being right outside. We stayed out of the room as much as possible. This hotel was simply gross.

Trip Type: Business Review 6 of 19Great room for the money
This is an older hotel, but it's right on the beach on the southern end of the city. There's a quick mart and a couple restaurants within walking distance. I didn't have an ocean view room, but the ocean was visible from my room door. Limited parking is provided in a below street level, single level garage. My mini-van fit fine, but another resident's full sized SUV's luggage rack would have scraped the entrance overhang if I hadn't stopped him. The area was quiet and the service was great. I stayed for 3 nights on business, and I'll be staying here again in a couple weeks with my family for a combined business trip and mini vacation.

Trip Type: Romance Review 7 of 19Exactly What We Expected
Pros: Look...lets be honest...if you book here you are trying to save money and still have a good spot. Directly on the beach. The A/C blew cold and we had to put on low. The fridge froze every drink in it. The microwave was small but powerful. The bed, TV, and bathroom were all functional and satisfactory. The shower always had hot water, even at peak times for showering. The staff went head over heals to make us happy. Cons: You can hear everything outside of the room and the neighbors were loud. Every time someone uses the shower the pipes make humming noises. Parking is terrible on the weekends. (Dont EVER park in the lower level parking. No security, TIGHT spaces and the exit is the same as the entrance, but only wide enough for one car) Overall: This place is exactly what we expected. As long as you book expecting to hear noise til midnight and expect it to be full of people then you will not be disappointed. We knew all of this going in because of feedback from previous guests so we were not at all upset. We were actually surprised by the attentiveness of the staff. You cant beat it for the price!!!!

Trip Type: Family Review 9 of 19Great location for the price!
We just recently stayed at this hotel for a little family vacation and really enjoyed it. The price was very reasonable and the hotel is right on the beach! The hotel could use a little upgrading but other than that it was great. I would definitely stay here again.

Trip Type: Romance Review 10 of 19Great for the money!
For what I paid for this hotel it was great!!! The pool was nice and clean. They had a seperate kiddie pool, and a seperate hot tub! This hotel is older, but has been very well kept. We loved that it was ocean front! We had no problems while we were there!

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 11 of 19Good for what it's worth
The hotel was nice for the money. When we arrived we had to change rooms because of a horrid mildew smell, but the new room was fine. Other than that, everything went well. The staff was nice.

Trip Type: Family Review 12 of 19Not bad
Definitely a 2 star hotel. I would check around, because there were other somewhat nicer hotels around the area that were just a little bit cheaper. Also, the "hot tub" was a 6 inch kiddie pool with no heating.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 13 of 19Ok
Ok for the money...a little disappointed that the room did not have a balcony that overlooked the ocean. Guess I should have read through all the description. Thought that oceanfront meant all the rooms had a view of the ocean but they didn't.

I like that the hotel was only a 5 min drive away for the airport and on the beach
