Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 1 of 10The Hidden Value
The window was open to air out the room as I arrived. It was a smoking room. Apparently there are no designated no smoking rooms. Ashes were still on the floor in the bathroom. The latch on the window didn't operate. Light switches didn't work and lights didn't turn on at the lamps. All in all, the hidden economy of the hotel is low budget gets you low quality.

This motel didn't deliver anything it promised. We were supposed to have a queen bed and we were lucky if it was a double. THe room was extremely small and rather outdated. The "continental" breakfast was a hostess cinamon roll.

This is a very, very basic hotel where you wouldn't want to stay for longer than one night, but it does not pretend to be anything else. It was clean, moderately priced and not too far from Chicago, where it is always difficult to find a room at a resonable rate. The receptionist, a pleasant gentleman from India, was courteous and helpful. Nothing more to be said.

I used my hotel bucks to book a one night hotel stay for my mom and sister when they came to chicago to help me move and was completely disgusted with the 2nd hotel I used from Hotels.com. This place was horrible, we had to move to 4 different rooms before we could find one that was half way clean. I recommend that you remove the hotels listed in Niles, IL.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 8 of 10why was i hassled about wanting a receipt
I was very upset with the hotel attendant and the owner for the hassle that I received when I asked for a receipt. In American business practises, it is an obligation for a completed business practise for the customer to recieve proof of purchase. I did not appreciate and felt like something very unprofessional was going on.

hotel was horrible. bed stained, door open when i checked in. walls thin could hear everything next door. no controls for air conditioning. i didn't stay the 2nd night. i left chicago a day early. i tried to get a refund from the hotel but no luck
