nice for the price!!!

The location is perfect loads of cabs to get you around( Unlike the upper west side) where we stayed a few years ago We loved having a complete kitchen.. loads of room... comfy beds... nice view (on the 25th floor> quiet and oh boy is the price right for 3 people

Location, Location, Location

And that's exactly what you're paying for. It's certainly not the most luxurious, and it doesn't really have any extra amenities, but the location is really solid for anything near Times Square and Broadway. If I go to NYC for a night again, I'll probably stay here.

Great hotel for larger families/groups

We were a group of 7 (4 kids ages 8, 7, 4, and 9 months) as well as 3 adults. The 2 BR, 2 Bath, with kitchen was perfect for us. The living area was spacious too. The staff was so friendly when we arrived and Patrick the bellhop could not have been nicer. We parked our van there and they whisked it away as soon as Patrick took all the bags. The room was clean and very comfortable. For sure the room is dated, but not to the point of really making any difference at all. There was hardly any street noise, except for the occasional siren. We walked with the 4 kids in tow all the way to Central Park, Times Square, Empire STate Building, and the American Girl Place. I would say at a leisurely pace it takes about 30 minutes to get to Central Park. It really is a good location. I would definitely recommend this hotel. We were very pleased with our stay.

The only good thing is the location

on the bad side: Very old mattress, no iron and room that is not that clean.... On the positive side: Close to Grand Central Will not use it again.

Outstanding for Price

The beds could stand to be updated or at a minimum have toppers on all mattresses not just double beds. It was a money saver in the respect we could easily prepare one meal in our hotel each day. Public transportation was within easy walking distance and NYC has the friendliest people willing to assist with directions

Good location to Grand Central Station.

Exceeded expectations

The room was larger and the bed more comfortable than I expected. The staff was friendly and helpful. I had trouble with the fee-based internet connection, but the tech support number worked perfectly and the problems were resolved. I would use this hotel again.

Good Value for the Dollar

Outdated furnishings, but a large comfortable room and comfortable bed. Good value for the price. Would stay here again. Front desk, Catherine (I believe) was very helpful. Could use a new TV. Did not like having to pay for use of a single lobby computer.

great room for the money

We enjoyed staying there it was like a apartment everything you needed. The kitchen was well equipped with all your needs. It was close to subway and bus service we would stay there again. The the people were very helpful and friendly
