Very Surprised

When it comes to all inclusive resorts I tend to have low expectations simply because it's hard to pull it off well. My wife and I aren't hard to please but still recognize flaws. After spending a week in the resort and around the town, meeting many other tourists, Dreams is definitely the place to stay for a great price (in July 09 atleast). The food was great, the hotel is great, the beach is beautiful. We stayed in the preferred tower which I think is clearly the way to go. The price difference was minimal in relation to what you get. The resort is secluded by cliffs on either side of the beach and a gate to get in so there are no all inclusive wrist bands or other tacky measures to make sure you're legit. The outdoor bars take care of you all day long with the typical beach drinks and corona and negra modelo on tap. The infinity pool is where you want to be for couples and adults while the other pull is roaming with little kids. We never had a problem with the two groups clashing as the resort is big enough to handle both. If you want all inclusive, with a great room and amazing views you might as well stop searching because this is what you want. Lastly, a few boats pull up every day to offer fishing, snorkeling, etc. I met George and his boat "Simpre Viva", nice guy and knows everything about the area. Paid him for a trip out on the water for a few hours and had a great time. A good way to avoid larger boat excursions where you're shuttled like a herd of cattle.

Fabulous Hotel

The hotels great. Phone ahead to secure a room with a balcony.Get to the infinity pool to reserve at 6:30 AM, theres only 10 lounge chairs. There are 2 other beautiful pools,5 restaurants, and a GREAT BEACH! Town is 5 mins in a taxi.Friendly with lots of Cafe's.We didn't want to come home. Going back soon.

Exceptional Food

This was our third trip to Dreams and it seemed the food was even better this time. In the four restaurants they outdo themselves with the presentation and taste in a gourmet style. There is fresh squeezed juice every morning and lots of fresh vegetables, which we ate with no problems. The activities are fun and constant and the staff is friendly and accomodating. When ordering room service for fresh coffee every morning, they would tell you it would take 20 to 25 minutes, then they would be there in 5. I would recommend this place to anyone. Great beach, plenty of beach chairs and palapas. Don't be afraid to go with Tony and his "Las Vegas Lady" boat right from the beach to go fishing or snorkeling. That was a highlight of our trip.

Great hotel in PV

Dreams was a great place to stay in Puerto Vallarta. If you want to have an 'all inclusive' beach experience, but want to be close to town, this is a great place to stay. Like all hotels in PV, it is not as luxurious other places, but the food was decent, and sometimes great and the beach was nice.

Best hotel experience I have ever had

Stayed at Dreams Puerto Vallarta for a wedding with 15 friends, and we had an amazing time. The hotel is gorgeous, the service was amazing, the all-inclusive food was very impressive, and what more can I say about the included booze? This hotel made me rethink any future plans I had of returning to Hawaii, seems pretty overrated to me now (and I had been multiple times. Thank you Dreams PV!

Great Hotel!

The hotel staff are extremely friendly and courteous. The food is good with a lot of different choices. Everyone is generous and they seem to want to make sure you're comfortable and enjoying yourself. It's a quiet atmosphere and I would definitely stay there again.
