nice base for excursions

This is an all-inclusive resort that seems to cater primarily to Tico families - but it was plenty comfortable for a gringa passing through. The rooms are new and spacious, with great balconies. The two pool areas offer a bit of variety, and a break if the other is too rowdy / boring. The food is OK, not great, but dessert aficionados will enjoy the variety!

Needs Improvement

The hotel had many ammenities and the staff was very nice and helpful. however my bathroom did not work throughout my entire stay there. When the toilet was finally fixed it was leaking and it was just disgusting. If I would not have the bathroom I would have given this hotel a better rating.
