Very comfortable room

The staff at the front desk were amazingly friendly and helpful. The room was the most comfortable we have stayed in for awhile. Of course the cookie they gave us upon check in was great.

Clean, Nice. Good Place to Stay in the Brandywine Valley

Enjoyed staying at this Doubletree Hotel. Headed to Winterthur Museum & Gardens & the location couldn't be better. Easy access from Delaware Memorial Bridge. Room service was prompt and the food was very good for a quiet Thursday night. My only negative comment is that the jacuzzi in the pool area was so chemically treated that it turned my bathing suit from red to orange and took two days to completely eradicate that "chlorine smell" from hair and skin. That aside, the mattress was very comfortable . . . I've never slept so well in a hotel.

Outstanding Customer Service

The staff was so friendly and accomadating it felt like staying with family!

Great Hotel

My family and I stayed here to visit Longwood Gardens and we were very happy with this hotel. It is directly adjacent to a shopping center and a host of restaurants. Our only issue with the room was it was a bit small.

Decent Location For Shopping

Place was quiet, clean, and set next to a mall and across the street from many dining places. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Great and inexpensive

The hotel was great. I arrived with my husband and 10 month old son. We were place on the first floor and a crib was already in the room when we go there. The hotel was clean so I let my baby crawl around the room. The staff was friendly and courteous and all of our needs were met. They have a great workout room and nice size pool. it was our first time at the doubletree but wont be our last. :)

Needs improvement

Room service was terrible we called the night we arrive to ask for towels because we booked a room for five and they gave us towels for only three guests and they never brought towels. There is only one elevator to get to the room which we booked so each time we used it we had to wait at least five minutes, finally we just decided to walk the three flights of stairs! lastly the prices for breakfast was ridiculous.
