Nice for the price

We did not get the room we reserved thur hotels.com....we knew we were in trouble when we noticed A LOT of kids in the lobby ...there were soccor playoffs in STL. We went to the lobby bar and were ignored by the bartender until 10 minutes before closing of the bar at 10 pm!!! The pool had a MILLION kids in it and all over the hallways kicking soccer balls. ADVICE: ask if there is a major booking for the weekend. The staff could only say they were sorry...no upgrades available and no extras offered. It is a great hotel...there are great restaurants and a fantastic comedy club close by that helped make up for the chaos

Nice hotel

Very nice hotel. Excellent location. I was a little surprised there wasn't free internet access from your room. You had to go to the lobby or meeting center. You could get access from your room but it was an additional cost. Hotel staff was very friendly. We would stay here again.

Extremely nice hotel for the price

The only knock I have is that they charge for internet use, other than that I was extremely pleased with this hotel.

Comfortable stay

The Hotel was very nice, and the warm cookie always an added bonus! Very nice workout/fitness center. Over all pleased with the stay will stay again at same place. Gave 4's on maitenance and cleanliness of room. BIG spill stain inside room and some broken tiles in bathrooms. Both easy fixes. Rest was great!

great value

We completly enjoyed our stay at the doubletree. the indoor pool/hot tub,and wonderful fitness center were a great way to begin or end the day, particularly in the cold rain that was in town. being close to the airport and having a choice of public transportation into downtown made access to attractions easy. We will defenitly stay here when we return on future visits.

I'll return to this hotel

The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and neat. I like the couch in the room so I don't have to watch TV on the bed. Lots of counter space in the bathroom. Refrigerator in the room was useful with two small bottles of water. I slept great in the comfortable bed. The restaurant is a bit spendy; however, the warm breakfast buffet was delicious with personalized omlettes.

Love This Place

Great place, loved every minute that I was there. I would tell anyone to go it's really nice, only on thing i didn't like was that room service was expensive, that's it and it's needs micro waves in the rooms.

Wonderful Experience

Our Hotels.com rate was fabulous for this quality of a hotel. The rooms were great, and all of the staff was pleasant. Very nice hotel for the money. We will definitely stay here again.
