Doubletree Hotel at the Entrance to Universal Orlando

Reasonably Priced Room

This hotel was very nice on the inside...could use a little paint on the exterior but very deceiving when you enter the hotel. Very clean rooms, the staff was very friendly and it's only approx. a 10 min walk to Universal. My only complaint was the pillows, they did not have any support to them, it was like sleeping without any pillows at all. Otherwise, I would definitely recommend this hotel to others, especially if your plans include Universal Studios.

GREAT LOCATION

You can actually walk to Islands of Adventure/Universal Studios/City Walk. Or if you feel lazy its a $5 cab ride.

Great View, Good Service, and Convinient Location

I really liked this hotel. I highly recommend to get a room with view to Universal Studios, it's really pretty and convenient. It was raining when we stayed and we could see if the rides were opened or not, from the confort of our room. The only thing I didn't like was paying for the parking ($16 Valet & $8 Regular) There was no complimentary internet, local calls, or breakfast. You practically pay for everything you use...I was surprised they didn't charge me for watching T.V! But overall it was a good experience.

Great Location, Great Hotel!

This hotel was great for the price and the location. It's directly across from Universal Studios and is surrounded by great restaurants. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The down side of staying here is that you must pay $12 a day for parking so whatever you pay for the room automatically attach $12. Other than that the service and the room was great.

Great location, Great Room, Great Staff!

I didn't like paying for parking, but I knew my car was safe. The rate was great!There was even a frig in the room! The beds were soft. The battery was low on the safe, so we had to call security, but they got it open! Starbucks was phenomenal. There was alot of youth there, but we never knew it! We had a great room!! Clean, and smelled good! Super cold air!! The staff was friendly and accomodating! We loved it and will definitely stay again!!

Wonderful, patient staff

I stayed at this hotel with a group of middle and high schoolers--the staff was patient and wonderful, even when the kids locked their keys in the rooms!

room was huge!!! view was pretty straight. the staff was ultra helpful, and the pool was open extra late. i will return for sure.

"OUTSTANDING HOTEL"

THIS IS A WONDERFUL HOTEL...FROM THE GOOD COOKIES AT CHECK-IN TO THE EXCELLENT SERVICE BY THE BELL TEAM. FOR ME THERE WAS JUST ONE SMALL PROBLEM. I AM REFERING TO THE A/C VENT. IT IS POINTED JUST ACROSS THE HEAD OF THE BED. I DON'T LIKE TO HAVE COOLED AIR BLOWING ACCROSS MY HEAD AS I SLEEP. OTHERWISE, EVENYTHING WAS PERFECT. THANKS FOR A WONDERFUL VISIT.
