if you're going to Universal I definetely recommend the Doubletree. The walk is about 10 - 15 minutes but it's very convenient to not have to drive. The room was clean, check in and out was very easy and they gave everyone in our room a delicious warm cocklate chip cookie! We stayed there because last year we chose a cheap rate hotel and I was scared for my safety (hotel door was wide open when we returned from the park) and the hotel was dirty and musty smelling. I would definetely stay there again!

clean hotel.when we arrived at 630 room wasn't ready had to wait room should have been ready.

GREAT ROOMS RIGHT PRICE

I LIKED THE HOTEL THE ONLY THING THAT I WISHED THEY HAD WAS THE CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST. ALSO THE FOOD COURT IS NOT A FOOD COURT. PLEASE DONT MISTAKE THIS.OTHER THAN THIS I WAS FAIRLY IMPRESSED.

our room didn't have an Ice bucket (which I needed) and they charged us $12.00+tax for self-parking (which I think is ridiculous) - other than that - the warm cookies at checkin were delicious!

Great location

Only stayed 3 nights. Very convenient in that I was only going to universal studios for halloween horror nights. Could walk to the park. Restuarants in walking distance also a Walgreens'.Would recommend a stay here.

Basic, but good for the price.

I have stayed at this hotel a few times when going to universal. Its very close to universal and city walk. you can walk from the hotel and it will only take you about 10 mins. we walked and saved on parking. The Double tree charges you $12 a night for parking which kinda blows, and there is no free Wifi in the rooms, but you can get free wifi in the lobby. I thought this was kind of lame. The room was pretty basic. It had a comfortable bed, a bathroom, and a TV. the facility itself was kinda boring, so i would suggest looking into the surrounding area that has much to offer. For the price we paid though it was worth it.

Great hotel

This is a great hotel for those on a budget. It has many restaurants in the hotel and close-by. The room was very large and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom could use updating, but it was clean.

The hotel was nice but have stayed in better rooms the same price. I was floored when I had to pay for onsite parking ,that was a first for me. Had to pay for internet whats up with that. By the end of my stay the bargin price was no bargin. the staff was professional and plesent.
