Trip Type: With Friends Review 16 of 121Rockin' Location
Great for a quick trip to the RRHoF. Clean modern room, nice and quiet. Easy access to onsite parking and downtown Cleveland. Only issue I had was the elevators took an excessive amount of time to reach my floor (9th out of 18). With 4 banks of 'vators, it should not take over 6 minutes to get one to stop on the middle floor. Other than that, great place to stay. Nice reps, great cookies when you check in, and a nice pool to boot. Rock on.

Trip Type: Family Review 18 of 121Not Suited for Children
It's a great hotel located near many tourist attractions. Although there was an indoor pool, there was nothing else small children can do there. If you have young children who can't wait to be fed, this hotel is not for you! The hotel buffet was extremely expensive and not as tasty as hotels that offer free continental breakfasts.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 19 of 121Budget Hotel - OK but not great
Hotel is located within walking distance of everything in Cleveland. Rock n Roll Hall of Fame, Brown's stadium, trendy warehouse district, etc all nearby. Indians stadium is either a long walk or short cab ride. Staff are nice, but the elevators are terrible. First, they haven't been cleaned this century. Not a good impression when you arrive and they didn't get any better during out stay. Also, they don't work often. On checkout day, Elevator bank of 4 had only 1 working and the cleaning staff hijacks them from 10-11 am so no one is allowed to leave their floor or leave the lobby during that time. You would think that the cleaning staff would look down and see how bad they look. Room was fine on our floor (Hilton Honors floor). It was clean and well appointed. Bathroom was well stocked with towels, shampoos etc, but it is small. Bed was comfortable. Very large closet. Overall - OK but not great.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 20 of 121Good Hotel for the Money
We just stayed at this hotel 9/24/09 and had a good time. The pros: room was clean, hotel had good location (across from Rock Hall), FREE shuttle, FREE internet, warm cookies, excellent gym, pool and jacuzzi. The cons: the elevators are terribly slow, the cleanliness of general areas on the floors was not great (room service pickups sit around), the bathrooms are small and not ventilated. The staff service was marginal but the van drivers were great - very helpful with good recommendations for restaurants. For the price and the FREE shuttle, very satisfied with our stay.

Trip Type: Romance Review 21 of 121Great hotel unless there is a big event.
We had a very interesting, however, ultimately pleasant experience with this hotel. The first night was stayed there was an Ohio State game being played at the stadium, which is conveniently two blocks away. Unfortunately we were not there for the game and were unaware. The first day the hotel seemed to be short staffed to handle the rush, there was a very long line to check in and the staff was noticably overwhelmed. The next day after they left, the staff was the most courteous and helpful hotel staff I had ever had the pleasure of dealing with. The shuttle service was extremely helpful and convenient and the drivers were very knowledgable about the city and where to go. The front desk was very quick to print out information. The starbucks located in the lobby was very nice and the bar and restaraunt was very casual but had an upscale feel. Ultimately it was a great hotel, if there is an event such as a football game going on, and you are there for the game, I'm sure it would be convenient, but if something was going on and it is not what you were there for, I'd recommed getting a hotel outside downtown.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 26 of 121Small Room great location
My room was about the size of a dorm room, me and my boyfriend were constantly jumping over each other. The shower would clog up everytime we got into it. The elevators took forever and were down for a long time forcing us to take the stairs. The air conditioner was extreamely loud. Its in a great part of downtown near the Science Center however, the room was less than impressive. I guess it was a good price considering it was downtown Cleveland and not too far from the nightlife action on 6th street.

Trip Type: Business Review 27 of 121GREAT LOCATION & REDO
We have stayed at this hotel 3 times this year and have always had a great experience with the staff and amenities the hotel offers. The location is great and is accesible to downtown by the hotels free shuttle or by walking. The view of lake Erie is fantastic as well as the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame and Browns Stadium. The in-house Starbucks is so appreciated. Our only concern is that we felt that the Garage Parking should be less expensive or free for guest!

Trip Type: Family Review 28 of 121Needs a Cleaning...
The decor at this hotel was very modern and nice. The location was perfect for tourists. The warm chocolate chip cookie they give you when you check in was delicious! Now for the not so good...unfortunately, the hotel was very dirty. Our room was very dusty (I could write my name in the dust!), our shampoo in the bathroom was half used and we killed around a dozen ants in our bathroom over our three night stay. The hotel did not offer a continental breakfast. They did have a breakfast buffet in their restaurant which was decent but expensive. The free shuttle service was an added convenience. Except for the cleanliness, overall, we were satisfied with our stay.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 29 of 121Outstanding Hotel
Everyone who worked at the hotel went above and beyond to give quality customer service to their guests. The hotel provided a shuttle bus to the Public Square area. This shuttle bus was always available and they promptly came to pick up the hotel guests from their destinations from the downtown area until ll:00 p.m. They were always courteous and helpful. The staff at the front desk offered helpful hints, gave out cookies and had a friendly smile and hello whenever we went in or out of the hotel. The room accommodations were very comfortable, the room was clean and there were plenty of towels, toiletries, etc. On the final day of our stay the elevator was not working for a brief period of time. We were promptly given a complimentary breakfast and a porter brought down our bags and placed them in a room for safekeeping so we could enjoy the city even though we had officially checked out. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to explore Cleveland. You will not be disappointed.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 30 of 121Amazing location!
The location makes this hotel worth it! It was less than a 10minute walk to the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame, Science Center and Browns Stadium. My only complaints were these...the surrounding neighborhood didn't have much else to do. There was a tiny mall with a food court, however it's closed on weekends, and there wasn't anywhere else to eat within walking distance. The hotel had a nice restuarant however, not too pricey and the food was okay. Also, we put up the DO NOT DISTURB sign to prevent maid service from coming in at 8am, however we would leave at 11am for the day and maid service didn't come once when we were there. Overall however the staff was friendly, the free shuttle was great, the location is PERFECT and I'd highly recommend this hotel.
