See more detailsLocation. The Dorint Sporthotel Garmisch- Partenkirchen is located at the Olympic Park Skiing Stadium, Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany, within 15 kilometres of Zugspitze, Germany's highest mountain, and four kilometres from Garmisch-Partenkirchen station.
Hotel Features. Built as an Alpine-style village, the Dorint Sporthotel offers views from its rustic cottages over the Wetterstein ranges. The adventure centre includes a swimming pool, Tuscan or Finnish sauna, a tepidarium, and a beauty farm with massage facilities. Wireless Internet access is complimentary, as is the garage parking, and there is also a ski shuttle from the hotel..
The Wintergarden restaurant serves local Bavarian fare with a decor of warm colours and wooden furniture. Its balcony has a panoramic view of the Alps. The Kaminbar serves drinks and snacks in front of an open fire, and a third restaurant offers Italian food. A buffet daily breakfast is complimentary, and there is also a poolside bar.
The seven meeting rooms range from the intimate to a capacity of 240 guests.
The hotel health spa offers relaxation treatments, as well as aerobics, yoga, Pilates, tennis, and swimming. Children have their own pool and a playground. Nearby, downhill and cross-country skiing, snowboarding, horse riding, fishing, and ice skating are available. Within 150 kilometres, there are 25 golf courses.
