Awesome atmosphere

Very nice hotel. Easy to find. We loved the layout of the hotel. It was open to the outdoors but secluded at the same time. A romantic place to stay.

Little More Security Required

The bungalows were nice but lacked in security. Upstairs neighbors were loud and knocked on room doors and hotel security was not responsive. This trip I was traveling with my husband but other times I travel alone for business. Because of the appearance of the lack of security, I would choose to stay at another hotel if traveling alone.

Just Okay

Ice machine too far away. Too far from parking to room.

Needs Improvement

We stayed 2 nights. Room was comfortable and large. Hotel looked nice but grounds were very dirty. None of the ice makers worked. When we went to from desk to inform staff, they were aware of it. Wished they told us during check in,that we had to get ice from the bar cuz all ice makers were out of order. There was a trash can outside our room that was also very dirty and filled with garbage the 2 days we were there. We didn`t eat at the restaurant because of the condition we found the grounds. For the price I expected a little more.

OK room for the money

The room was ok, but not as clean as I hoped. The hotel was convenient and in an ok part of town. Was disappointed that we had to pay for breakfast. Nothing was included in the stay. The coffee maker wouldn't work in the bathroom (where it was located) and the cleaning staff didn't clean the coffee maker one morning.

Older Hotel

THe front desk was friendly. The mattress was old and sank to the middle. The room was fairly clean considering the age of the hotel.

Great place to stay

We stayed at the Don Fernando De Taos hotel for three nights July 13 thru 16. I was very impressed with the size of the room and the comfort of the beds. The service was prompt and friendly. One recommendation......each room should have a refrigerator and microwave. I was there with a four year old and an eight month old. It would have been more convenient to have quick access to food and drinks. Other than that, everything was well done!!!!

Great Hotel

Only complaint was gross stained sheets on the bed.

Nice hotel

Staff was very nice. Hotel looked like a resort we stayed in Mexico. Rooms large and comfy. Only complaint was stained gross looking dirty sheets.

Good deal, unique property

Hotel was nicely priced and was a nice place to stay. Lobby bar was a good deal at Happy Hour and indoor pool was nice. Property layout was unique and rooms were very comfortable
